What’s Numblr?

Numblr is a free analytic website for Tumblr. It scans your post history to create a detailed breakdown of information. The information gathered at Numblr isn’t as in-depth as the tools previously mentioned, but you are able to receive relevant information on data such as: note to post ratio, your percentage of original content, and your total posts. You can also track other Tumblr sites to benchmark competition.

Since I saw Chris’ (xpltvdeleted.tumblr.com) post on Numblr, I immediatly wanted my own tumblr analytics, so I did.

And yes, it literally takes weeks, and I’ve discovered that, since numblr started doing the analysis, which was maybe 2 weeks ago, I’ve posted new stuff, and I wanted an update on the analysis, but I think that it doesn’t have that feature (or maybe I just can’t find it).

But anyway, I’m not as proud as Chris as far as originality goes, but I’m certainly working on it, and making my tumblr a little more personal.

Scale is hard. Numblr is overwhelmed with data to analyze and not enough server power to do it. Otherwise, still fun.

If there is one big weakness with Tumblr (and you haven’t got Google Analytics set up), then it’s knowing anything about the numbers behind your Tumblr.

Numblr is pretty basic, but it’s a nice start —> “Tumblr analytics for you, your brand, and your competitors”.
