Here is my final Bird Project Website!
Here are some of my wire frames for the final websites with some ideas I put down so I wouldn’t forget them, as well as navigation ideas for when the website needs to be responsive.Â
This is my final styletile and contains all of the images I am going to use as well as my font style and colour theme.
In this styletile I thought about maybe adding a cartoon feel to the website to make it more suitable and fun for children, however, after much debate I decided against this idea as there would be too much information and some children would lose there concentration when looking at the website with loads of information.
One of my styletiles shows a few font styles I thought about using as well as a few images I may want to add to my website. Â I had to choose the images carefully as they set the tone on how the overall website will be.
Another mind-map I created before starting the project.
My mind-map of me brain storming ideas for the takahe bird project. Â Allowing me to jot down some ideas that I may want to include.
I tried drawing different birds that I might use, while sticking with the Takahe Birds colours to keep the colour theme.
My Moodboard I complete myself allowed me to let my creativity side out when deciding where everything had to go and were I wanted it placed. Â I found this part of the project very enjoyable.
Discover recipes, home ideas, style inspiration and other ideas to try.
My online moodboard of the takahe bird project, were I did some research as well as finding images I might use in the website.
I have decided to go with Roboto Slab as it’s very clear to read and looks visually nice on the page.
More styles I may choose from, to find the best style I am using Google fonts o find the one I want.
When choosing the type of font for your website it is very important, as from personal experience if I go onto a website and the words are hard to read - I will most likely leave the website.
You need to pick a type that suits the feel of the website and to make sure it’s easy for everyone to read.
Flat Vs Realism
Here is a example of a the the Bird Project that I started but didn’t like the direction it was going so I felt better to start over again rather than to completed it.
My Master Apprentice Album Cover with HTML and CSS.
This is an interesting use of the map tool, to document everywhere you’ve been, this would be maybe be useful in the future but I don’t think I will use it on any of my projects.
