Character headcanons under the cut!

Does industrial D&B using clips of equipment he's worked with in labs.

BIG fan of Star Trek, Uhura and Data are his favorite characters. Got into Dr. Who while studying in Austria.

Smokes at least twice a day, sometimes more at the bar with Barney.

Orange is his favorite color, so you can imagine his pleasure after finding out the HEV suits were caution orange.

His ears were pierced when he was little. Wasn't his choice, but he's kept them. Doesn't do anything special, prefers diamond studs or silver rings.

He got the tattoo years before working for Black Mesa. The lambda is a symbol of queer resistance and liberation. The irony of getting put in lambda with his equally queer professor was not lost on him. Lambda sector got a slight reputation for being The Weirdos.

He's been on testosterone since he was 19, and was able to get his tubes tied through the physicians at Black Mesa. Was planning on figuring out top surgery in the future. That never happened obvi lol.

Due to damaged vocal cords he physically can't speak, and has been mute a majority of his life. His coworkers say that doesn't stop him from hissing and sputtering at his computers when they're pissing him off.

This man does NOT have a fucking pokerface. BUT he does have that thousand yard autism stare.

Fursona is a Melanistic Mearns Coyote. Bugsona is a Watermelon Beetle.

Bugs are cool and he's the designated Bug Catcher in the lab. He once just picked up a scorpion by the tail with no hesitation, the lab absolutely lost their shit. He's rumored to be unafraid of any critter. This is a lie he does NOT like snakes. Snakes are Barney's job.

Family isn't really present. He'd been cut off after coming out, and really only checks in on his mother for holidays. He thinks of Dr. Kleiner as family, and eventually Dr. Vance once they really started working together.

He's Jewish, but not very active. He still celebrates most holidays (helps that Kleiner, Vance, and Barney are all Jewish too).

This man has undiagnosed and untreated ADHD and has never been on time a single day in his life. He's either an hour early or late. No in between. There's a worn spot of tiles under his desk from where he keeps bouncing his leg.
