I've been writing so much more lately since I started writing with pen and paper again instead of on my laptop.

Its so much more fun. More intuitive. More chaotic and beautiful.

There's more room for notes and scribbles, its more personal...and the clicking of a keyboard cant replace the scratching of a pen or pencil on paper.

I dont remember when I started writing notes on my laptop and stopped writing in notebooks...but I'm glad i picked up this old habit again. Does anyone else feel like this or am I a weirdo? Lol

Since I first read about Cobb Vanth in the Aftermath series, I wanted him to meet Han Solo...the amount of trouble they'd get into?

Mando and Leia would be constantly on edge.

Also... Mando has met R2. Can you imagine him meeting C3PO? The people surrounding him would make bets about how long 3PO would surivive in Din's presence.

Luke: half an hour...I hope?

Cobb: I give them 5 minutes...

Cobb chuckles again...and then suddenly leans back and grab Din´s forearms, grinning proudly. „Found you. What´s my reward?“, he asks, genuinely curious. Din huffs softly, hands still on Cobb´s face. In another universe, he would be brave. In another universe, he´d say „Me!“, lean down and kiss this ridiculous ridiculous man. It could be so easy. Maybe in another universe he is an outlaw in shiny armour, hunting down criminals, a fearless agent with cowboy hat and whip or a ruthless general. But unfortunately, in this universe, Din Djarin is a coward.

Been meant to post this new chapter for a while now...but a writer's block, busy work life and now this godforsaken heat had gotten in the way. I've gotten frustrated because I wanted ti get it done...but then I remembered not to pressure myself into posting stuff.

This story is the biggest project I have right now, and the cop x criminal AU I still got in my drafts (I didnt forget it!).

I kinda like the fact that in the books, Cobb befriends Malakili, the beast tamer that took care of Jabba's rancor.

So I feel like he'd know a shittone about rancors/other beasts because Malakili would keep ranting to him, and since Malakili sees them as his "babies", and not some malicious beasts, Cobb would at some point adopt that view.

Imagine Cobb, after recovering and finding out he missed a fight where a kriffing rancor was present, Boba offers to introduce these two and so he does...and Cobb is giddy and gives Boba advice on how to treat and feed it and shit. Bromance incoming (am I the only one who finds it weird that Cobb wore Bobas armour for so long and then in Bobf he appeared as if he never even heard the name?)

And while Cobb tends to the rancor its just like

Boba: You gotta keep this one, Mando.

Din: Huh?

Boba: You heard me

Concept:

Office worker x street musician

Din is an office worker that visits the same coffee shop every day in his lunch break.

Then one day, Cobb appears with his guitar, playing close to that coffee shop and Din...is mesmerised. He doesn't understand much about music...but the aura of confidence and nonchalance that envelops Cobb is admirable. His nails are painted in black and an earring glints in the sun, his arms are covered in tatoos:

A dragon and desert motives.

And the way he seems to be in his own world when he plays, completely at ease. Cobb doesn't even notice Din watching. Doesn't notice anything around him.

The first time Din throws money in his hat, Cobb smiles and winks at him.

From then, Din listens to Cobb every day during lunch, sitting close by, and Cobb seems happy about some company.

Then one day, when he gets off work early, Din decides to be brave and steps to Cobb, who's packing away his stuff. Maybe he wants to get some coffee?

And Cobb definitely does...

This idea has been stuck in my mind for weeks now...would anyone be interested in me turning this into a little OneShot?

I know I'm not the fastest with updates...but I'm writing for my own enjoyment, trying not to pressure myself with posts.

Back then, Din hadn´t realized, but he had already been doomed when Cobb had handed him Boba´s armour and smiled so sheepishly, so unlike himself, and the kiss had only sealed the deal. Hadn´t yet understood life without Cobb would never be the same again. Empty, devoid of all colors, like an abandoned canvas. Robbed of the chance to become a beautiful painting...

Something I've been working on for a while now. A personal, experimental little thing that really tested my patience, writers blocks that nearly made me throw it in the garbage once or twice...but I'm proud to present it to you now. I wanted to screw my perfectionism and finally post it before I correct it again amd again and AGAIN.

Its my personal take on the events after Book of Boba Fett, including some things I said in a previous post. It involves a lot of feelings, how Din views and deals with emotions...(and even if it doesn't sound like it, I promise a hopeful ending)

Din would roll his eyes about his music taste at first...but he'd end up listen to them anyways when he's on a job and he misses Cobb

I think one of the reasons DinCobb works best for me is because they wouldn't hold any expectations for the other even if they ended up in a committed relationship.

Cobb knows Din's profession forces him to travel a lot and he cant stick to a place for long...and he doesnt expect Din to settle for him, doesnt want him to. He has his own responsibilities, and so instead, he builds a place, not exactly a home forever but a place Din can return to, especially after a job or a rough event. Even if it has been weeks, months? Doesn't matter. He'll welcome him with open arms.

Din on the other hand knows Cobb's place is in Freetown and nothing can get Cobb away from his town and the people he swore to protect. So he comes back when he can, sharing his credits and time with him and brings him souvenirs from his travels in a way to show Cobb the galaxy without him having to leave.

I think it could work well because they respect the other's responsibilities and know they can't just abandon them for a relationship...but they make the best of it they can.

Din getting Cobb off planet for his first time ever to show him snow because Cobb hasn't seen a single snowflake in his life.

Got this cozy thing in my mind where they find a cabin after walking in the snow for a while and Din does his best to warm Cobb up.

Cobb cuddled up in a cozy patchwork blanket in front of the fireplace...and Grogu waddling over to him to share some body heat or bringing him a hot chocolate Din made.

Its also the first time for Cobb to drink hot cocoa

Frogs and Ducks, Chapter 2

Din had to admit...there was this tiny part of him that had already doubted he´d see Cobb again when they parted ways that evening. That he´d return to their park like any other day, with Grogu and the other parents (which were mostly mothers and several years younger than him too) as sole company. And that would´ve been fine, really. Cobb did not owe him anything. Neither his company nor any conversations that, come to think of it, Din really did enjoy after all. He listened and smiled and quipped, as if he was really interested in what Din had to say. Which sure as hell wasn´t something Din was used to. He had spent most his life being overlooked by others. He had made peace with it tho, comfortable in his own world, wrapped in the comfort of solitude. But now, having someone´s attention at this stage of his life, someone who seems to be the polar opposite of him, made him realize what he´s been missing out on. So, the way bigger part in him wished for Cobb to return. And he wasn´t let down in the end. Cobb is already waiting for them when he and Grogu reach their destination.

Its been a month but...I've been finally able to finish tbe second chapter for the single dads AU? Got a massive writer's block at the end and it took a while to get over it Hope you guys enjoy. Two other ideas will follow too. (Somehow I could link the second chapter, whyever...)

Had this random AU idea in my mind where Cobb is a pickpocket and steals Din's wallet...but when he sees a little picture of Grogu in it, he feels guilty and tries to sneak it back but Din catches him this time and he has a lot of explaining to do...either that or he sneaks it back with his phone number lol

I'm currently writing on so many story prompts at once and not all of them are for posting and probably things I wont finish but I'm kinda stuck on all of them right now and its frustrating as hell _._ I know not everything you write or draw has to be finished or perfect but stillllll

Dont get me wrong...

I'm happy Cobb survived and I would've been devastated if he had died...but like...

I read his character in the show and in the book as someone who's willing to risk everything for his village and Tatooine in general, even if it means getting himself killed, because he doesn't have much to loose and all he wants is freedom for himself and his people. He's brutal and quick witted in the book and instead of showing any fear, he just straight up smiles when threatened.

And having him shot down by Cad Bane so easily and later put in a Bacta Tank and getting modified just for the sake of it feels... I dont know...wrong somehow. At least to me.

I feel like he wouldn't be thankful once he wakes up. I feel like he would be pissed and bitter and upon hearing what had happened in his absence, survivor's guilt would eat him up...and the feeling that he does not deserve that badge anymore.

I dont mean to judge any writer's decision or anything or offend people that liked the idea, I really dont. Its just my opinion...I just think he deserved a different fate than being gunned down and rotting in a Bacta tank for what...4 years now?

I have so many feelings about him as charavter and this is just a short extract of it, lol.

Spring had come around full force. Trees and flowers gave the usually grey and dull city a new colorful coat of paint, the days were longer and one was finally able to ditch the heavy winter coat for a lighter one. Snow and rain have bid their farewells, ousted by cloudless skies and outdoor activities. Birds were singing their carols and showing off their pretty plumages, trying to court their mates. Young couples were making picknicks, enjoying the first warm sunrays of the year...and children were laughing and running around in pure glee about not being stuck indoors anymore. One person, however, definitely wasn´t enjoying themselves. Din was downright miserable.

The single dads AU I was talking about a few days back.

A second chapter is already in the making and I hope to post it soon.

Zola is a Star Wars OC of mine that is connevted to Cobb and Din and got her own law depending on AUs, but in this one she's Cobb's daughter.

Detective Din Djarin, recently demoted and followed by bad luck, is assigned to a murder case that seems impossible to solve.

Cobb Vanth isn't a stranger to the insides of an interrogation room or a prison cell. Robbery, identity theft, trespassing, dealing drugs...you name it.

When Vanth becomes the main subject for the murder case, the police is happy to have a scapegoat. Detective Djarin however...isn't convinced that Vanth is their man. He may be a sarcastic dick but...murder isn't his thing. So he works with Vanth to prove his innocence...and maybe, just maybe, he starts hating him a bit less.

Aka DinCobb Cop x criminal AU my brain randomly pooped out? Should I write something for it?
