The Great Sphinx of Giza - (four views) - limestone (carved from bedrock) - impossible to identify what name the creators called their statue, as the Great Sphinx does not appear in any known inscription of the Old Kingdom and no known inscriptions have ever been found, the view held by most modern Egyptologists remains that the Great Sphinx was built for the pharaoh Khafre, the builder of the Second Pyramid at Giza - Fourth Dynasty - c.2500 BCE
