SSM26: Partners in Crime
"Ashamed of his monstrous form, the Beast concealed himself inside his castle with a magic mirror as his only window to the outside world. The rose she had offered was truly an enchanted rose, which would bloom until his twenty-first year. If he could learn to love another and earn her love in return by the time the last petal fell, then the spell would be broken. If not, he would be doomed to remain a beast for all time. As the years passed, he fell into despair and lost all hope. For who could ever learn to love a beast?" BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (1991)

On an entirely different subject i hate bitches that direct critique at girls in shonen anime for being useless instead of directing that critique at the writers for creating girl characters and failing to do anything meaningful with them
I hate a āsakura was uselessā ass bitch. Its not her fault kishimoto cant write women
Naruto and itās the same but I was allowed to write Sakura however I want and she actually gets the time and attention she deserves bc Kishimoto canāt write women and-
My name is Hisham, a 26-year-old young man from Gaza. Like any young person, I dreamed of a simple job to achieve my goals and build my future step by step, but the war turned all our dreams into rubble. We were displaced many times, carrying our homes on our shoulders, leaving our memories under the debris.
My family now lives in a tent with no stable shelter, my sister Jana has no school, and I have no steady job. My brother Kamal carries the burden of the entire family, working every day to secure just enough food, while I search for any work, no matter how difficult or dangerous, just to survive.
My mother, the beautiful dream we once cherished, wished for a calm and happy life for us, but the war tore us apart and shattered our hopes. As for Jana, my innocent sister, she lost her school, her books, and even her sense of hope, yet she still writes her dreams on small pieces of paper, hiding them in her torn clothes so they wonāt get lost like everything else.
We are not asking for the impossible, only what keeps us alive with dignity and gives us a chance to rebuild our lives. Every donation, no matter how small, means so much to us. Your support will give us hope to keep going and try again. šā¤ļø

"My name is Hisham, a 26-year-old young man from Gaza. Like any ordinary young man, I dreamed of having a job where I could fulfill myself, and of days spent building my future step by step. I used to work at a company that sold fruits and vegetables. That job was the beginning of my path⦠until the war turned everything into cold, lifeless rubble.
From the very first day, destruction became a part of our lives, and my family was forced to live on the edge of escape every single day. We were displaced so many times that I can no longer remember the number. We carried our homes on our shoulders, leaving our memories behind under the debris.
Our first displacement was in December 2023, when military vehicles stormed our area on a night so dark it will never leave my memory. That night felt like the end of the world: nonstop shelling, fires spreading through the streets, planes that never rested, people running with their children, hearts trembling with fear. When dawn came, it was not a light⦠it was a signal to flee.
We spent a full month in the streets of Gaza and in makeshift tents. When the army withdrew, we returned to our area to find a scene that did not resemble life. Most homes were flattened, and our house was partially destroyed. We tried to repair what we could, returning to a place where famine had struck Gaza with its harshest form. My siblings and I stood in long lines just to get a bag of flourālines that felt like battles: either you return with a little, or you return empty-handed.
Then came June 2024, when the army entered our area again. We fled with nothingāno clothes, no memories. After forty days, we returned to find our home completely destroyed. Since that day, we have been living in a tent far from our neighborhood, trying just to survive from one day to the next.
But my suffering is not mine alone; my siblings carry stories heavier than life itself:
Mohammed and Kamal⦠my brother who carries the weight of the entire family
Kamal, my older brother, is married with two daughters. He never asked for more than a simple life, but the war forced him to become the head of the family. He searches for any source of income, no matter how small. He buys some groceries to sell in the streets just to provide enough for our mother and siblings for a single day.
I, for my part, travel daily from south Gaza to the north in search of any work, even if it means long hours of walking and danger. Sometimes we work a full day for very little, and that little is what keeps our family standing.
Each displacement cost us money we did not have: transport fees, commuting costs, and sometimes debts we had to borrow just to survive. The war destroyed everything⦠even moving from one place to another became an unbearable burden. As for my mother⦠the beautiful dream suffocated by war. My mother, the kind heart, dreamed of living in happiness and peace, seeing us married and happy, needing nothing. But the war tore that dream apart, shattering our lives and making us lose everything.
My sister Jana, sweet and innocent, used to top her class, and our mother would rejoice at her grades as if she were receiving her graduation certificate. But the war did not only destroy our homesāit also destroyed Janaās dreams.
Today, Jana lives in a tent with no books, no school, no place to study, and no clear future. She dreamed of becoming a teacher⦠and now she writes her dreams on scraps of paper, hiding them in her torn clothes so they wonāt disappear like everything else. Later, after the ceasefire, I worked as a taxi driver to cover some costs, but the car soon broke down. I spent a lot of my own money and became indebted to many people. Now, I am unemployed, my family lives in a tent on the street, and I have no hope except in you.
We are not asking for the impossible. We are only asking for help to keep us alive with dignity. Your support will help us rebuild our lives. Every donation, no matter how small, means the world to us, and I am deeply grateful for your kindness šš„¹.
