Another great example of service design
How to make sure your customers are benefiting from the service you’re offering them? Well, Snappcar figured out a way that works pretty well. For the ones who don’t know Snappcar, it’s a website through which you can rent cars from private people.
Anyway when you register for their website one of the default settings that’s activated is ‘automated rental request’. That means if you’re looking for a car to rent and you’re not getting an answer to your rent request in a reasonable time limit (it was 1-2 hours in my case), Snappcar will send you an automated message with another option which fits your search criteria. Very simple, very helpful.
They even go one step further and first check with that person if their car is still available and if they agree to rent it for the period you mentioned. So all you need to do is to click on the CTA button ‘Pay’ in the message and pay for the car. AWESOME! Love the idea, Love the service!
