[[Semi-Hiatus]]

[[Sorry for the short notice, guys. My business math course starts up on Monday and I have to dedicate as much time as physically possible to it. It’s the last thing standing between me and graduating college.

This is not a full hiatus, not yet. I will simply be far less active on all my accounts.

All are effected. Since this account kind of doubles as my personal these days, expect a drop in quality for a while. I may still lurk and reblog stuff, but I will be far too drained for any full-blown replies. I apologize in advance for this.

Once I’ve gotten settled in class, I may start one or two more blogs, just to get them set up.

These have not been made yet. Carlos is simply an idea right now, but I’m being bribed into making Luigi—bylemoncoughcough—so he will eventually crop up. I need to re-watch Repo! once or twice before I’m comfortable with him, however.

I will get to making that 300-follower video if it kills me, I just don’t know when. My derpy mug will be on your dash once more eventually.

No Such Luck

The moment his mind registered the text, his heart sank. A trap. It was a fucking trap. Of course it was a trap! The Turk’s sixth sense alerted him to something amiss behind him, but all he could do was look up before the beam hit him. The ensuing sensation was bizarre. His skin tingled and numbed, as though shocked, but only for a split second.

Reno stumbled forward awkwardly once the transport was finished and looked around, spinning in a circle as he did so.

“What the fuck—?!”

“So what happened to being dense, not dumb?” Sam chuckled, crossing his arms in his grid armor. “I guess I was right all along.” He smirked, taking a few steps forward.

“Greeting from the grid, your first and final visit.” He took his disc off his back and spun it around his finger.

He snorted, trying to shrug off the shock of his new location. His suit had changed, now an even darker, sleek black with faint red circuitry. His usually white shirt had changed to an angry red, as well. Even the Turk’s goggles had altered somewhat.

“Oh, you are in no position to be takin’ cracks at me right now, Sammy. I don’ take too well to being tricked.” Teeth bared, he reached for his EMR. The weapon seemed unchanged, save for the fact that it was now a solid black.

“The Grid? So this is yer fancy lil playground, eh? I’ll make sure we put it to good use when yer finally outta the picture, don’ worry.”

“Mnnn. I really don’t think so. You see, here? I run this little fight. It’s not my fault you are so easily outsmarted. Besides, you know you would have done the same thing if you had the chance.”

“So I took it upon myself to beat you too it.” He shrugged. “Your little electric stick wont do you any good here at all. I’ve hot more allies in here than you can possibly imagine.”

He took a good step forward and threw his disc to whiz past Reno’s face and come back into his hand.

“The Game has changed, Reno. And there is nothing you can do about it.”

Reno remained calm and cocky as ever. At this point it was only a self-defense mechanism, meant to keep him from truly losing his nerve, but no one who didn’t truly know him could tell. It wasn’t the first time he had been lured onto the enemy’s turf, and while it did unnerve him slightly, he didn’t dare let it show. The redhead smirked faintly, his entire face illuminated by the red circuitry adoring his clothing.

“Ooh, someone’s gettin’ cocky.” The rod was twirled in his hand as he spoke. ”Yer actin’ like a change in scenery is going to let you win. Allies or not, I can take you on. This is the kind of shit I was trained for, punk. Whatever advantage you think you have doesn’t exist.”

The disc did nothing to deter him, it only made him laugh.

“A frisbee? Oh man. This is gunna be gold, yo. Almost wish Rude was here to watch you finally get yers.”
