it is as glowing a recommendation as she can expect. at the very least, there will be enjoyable bloodshed, and, if it is truly so abhorrent an upset ( especially after that of the game of thrones finale ), then shiklah will just need to make for bloodshed of her own. He idly wonders how much each one has to pay to have their logos included as a shortcut button on a television’s remote, but the hell of capitalism can wait. “This one’s got piranha in it, but they don’t feed anyone to ‘em, which I always thought was a missed opportunity.”

"then what is their purpose ??" she asks, tucking herself against her husband's side as he handles arranging the movie on screen for them. learning about the modern world still through wade's lens has certainly been interesting, but she does so have a soft spot for his movie choices with the most gruesome deaths ( it is, of course, the closest she can get to witnessing such things for sport in the modern age -- however false, it does so satisfy ). "no -- i suppose i shall see. i will enjoy this, yes ??"

The torches on the wall cast long shadows as they pass and the flicker of his flamethrower illuminates the path just ahead of them. The stakes secured at his side, the bandolier of holy water hand grenades slung across his chest, and the flamethrower make him an imposing sight for any bloodsucker. He would still place money on Shiklah being the more intimidating presence any day. In a hushed tone he asks: “Do you think any of them have made it this far? I don’t hear anything.”

having her husband rallied to her cause is, admittedly, VERY SEXY of him. and, while taking him in the dark shadows of the catacombs is very tempting with him so well-equipped, she would like to do so bathed in the blood of their enemies. "it is because they are cowards," she says, walking without fear; walking like a queen. "the straggler you witnessed me vanquish with was not alone when i caught him. his companions ventured deeper. of course, they are not well-fed down here, so to dispose of them should not be too difficult."

" shiklah asks thoughtfully ( luigi is a strange name, surely her husband speaks of the only one she knows !! ). though she is unsure exactly of what an insurance company ceo is, or what he has to do with modern day plumbing, shiklah is always excited to witness a torture. "perhaps it fell between the cushions."

though shiklah always finds her husband attractive, she cannot help but feel more drawn to him when he is geared up to destroy her enemies; when he is rallied to her cause.  it is in these moments that they feel to her as a true ruling team.  “you are sufficiently equipped, beloved.  have you a portable fire starter as well ??”  she means matches, perhaps, or a lighter.  “the more quickly we might build a pyre shall make all the difference.”

“A fire starter? My love, please, I always bring the heat wherever I go.” The flamethrower he pulls from some holster on his back, well, who knows where it came from? It’s been a few years, let it be. “This is Charlene McGee, she’ll build us a real good pyre. These vampires are not invited, let’s go make ‘em pray to a God they don’t believe in.”

it is DELIGHT which overcomes her expression at his choice of weapon. the vampires are a plight that shiklah fears she will never fully eradicate, but those in opposition at hand are also due for their PUNISHMENT. although her husband's reference goes over her head, the message is well received. "how i love you," she steals a kiss from his cheek before bypassing him. "come !!"

His hand slides onto her hip as he moves closer to her. "How about we go and find out." He suggests, his eyes meeting hers.
