His name means ‘lighthouse does not shine on its base’. It is difficult to see something that is right in front of you.

Some headcanons I came up with when I first saw him ( really quickly): He’s probably oblivious to everything that is happening to him and he neglects his own feelings because of that but in fact he’s rather empathic. But because he’s more often than once locked in his room working on something artistic, he doesn’t put it to use. About the artistic side of him, he probably already received poetry awards, haiku award ect- Basically, he would write poems, haiku when younger but he would focus on his drawings, portraits, painting etc- later on. When younger, he abandonned writing to take on drawing because Izaya (or someone else) won the first prizes of a lot of things he aimed for. He’s quite the perfectionnist and wants to aim for the best with his drawing (since he couldn’t with his writing-) He gotta be insomniac because of the marks under his eyes. He sleeps as little as he can. He overworks.

He would be slightly hyperactive (not in the illness type of way-) but knows how to control himself. But if he was to meet someone sharing his passion, only an an endless flow of words would leave his lips.

He’s just ball of energy quite well contained. But once he blacks out, he blacks out. (Containing yourself so much is quite tiring.) He’s tapping his fingers not to get blisters when he’s drawing or doing something artistic in general. He uses pet friendly paint in order to paint his cat’s fur with little patterns when he needs inspiration (because I refuse to see that pattern on its back being normal.) His main activity is probably ink drawing because of the type of pencil he’s holding. Or it could be painting. He could also be a mangaka though that idea doesn’t appeal to me that much. But the four red diamonds would be his little self… Like Hiromu Arakawa’s is a cow ect- Alternatively, his cat could be a mere plushie. Just… imagine him with stuffed animals. Sewing them and having a whole room full of plushies.

If there is one thing he hates, it’s wearing socks and shoes. Anything going on his feet is a no-no, even when it’s cold.

And wow- I’m having too many ideas, I’ll come back later for more.
