It’s said that the eyes are the windows to the soul. But if you’re a professional wrestler, it’s the scars that’ll actually tell the story of what your soul holds. Whether it be because of torture, because of punishment, because of conflict, scars are the thing that separate us from people who won’t get into the ring and fight for a living. It’s one thing to observe a tiger in a cage. It’s another thing to take a step forward and poke that tiger with a stick. But would you poke that tiger if there was no cage there, would you even approach that tiger?
It takes far more than the average person to even contemplate that, let alone do that. To face your worst nightmare, to face your fears, to face the fact that you may never be the same again. When you step into the world of the Blackpool Combat Club, this isn’t playing at being a professional wrestler anymore, this is the world of being a professional wrestler. A world where pain is a constant, where torture is just done for fun. Where inflicting as much punishment on your opponents is possible, is what we do.
When people are trying to impress others with their incredible skills or their holds, we are dragging somebody down on the floor and making them feel like they’re dying a thousand deaths. We are taking people onto the mat and taking off their skin. We are sticking our elbows and our chins into parts of their body that they didn’t know they could feel pain in, and not only feel pain but start to scream. In agony. And cry. And wish that they’d never taken up this profession. This is what you’re doing when you face anyone in the Blackpool Combat Club. We will take you down, we will throw you, we will hit you, but every time we take you down or throw you or hit you, it will be harder, it will be more violent, it will be more punishing than anyone else you’ve ever faced. That is something that we revel in.
If you gave a hundred people a knife and told them to inflict punishment on the person that they hate the most in the world, ninety-nine percent of those people would stab that person. The people in the Blackpool Combat Club wouldn’t. We would cut you down the cheek because being stabbed you’ll forget about in six months. I’d prefer to think that all of us in the Blackpool Combat Club would get more pleasure out of knowing that every morning you wake up, you’re going to look in the mirror and you’re going to remember us because of the scars we left on you.

Far Cry: Pagan Min (ENTP)
UNOFFICIAL TYPING by ironite
Extroverted Intuition (Ne): Among the words that summarize and describe this complex video game character, maybe eccentric, flamboyant, volatile, vibrant, extravagant, nostalgic and frightening are the best. Pagan Min doesn’t rarely speak using metaphor, and throughout the game, he often calls the protagonist, named Ajay Ghale, to share some stories of his past, or to communicate him some ideas he just come up with about the future of Kyrat (a third world fictional Himalayan country where the game takes place, whose king is Pagan Min). He wants all bears and birds of Kyrat to be painted of pink to honor him, and also made candles illegal!
Introverted Thinking (Ti): PaganMin rarely gets out of control. He prefers to approach situations with logic and calm, and generally has an unconcerned approach even to highly climatic events. Min is a ruthless, and violent dictator, similar to Iosif Stalin, Kim Il-Sung and Mao Zedong, and has no problems in killing (almost) everyone gets in his way, although he prefers to let do the grunt work to others. Pagan is also very precise with his words.
Extraverted Feeling (Fe): Min is an exceptionally charming, manipulative and charismatic leader. Although Ajay throughout the game fights for the Golden Path (the rebel faction created by his father Mohan Ghale and by his mother Ishwari Ghale in the 80s against Pagan Min’s oppressive regime of terror) Pagan never actually acts hostile against Ajay, on the contrary, Pagan often helps and assists Ajay many times. He shows very often he cares about Ajay like if he was his son. Pagan Min, despite being a narcissist dictator, deeply loved Ishwari. Here are, just a couple, of Pagan Min’s quotes that refer to Ishwari.
Introverted Sensing (Si): “Get up, boy. I would recognize those eyes anywhere…” “She told me she loved me. Women, they can do that. They can tell you they love you in the moment and mean it. Men, on the other hand… No, men only really love you in hindsight, when too much distance has built up.” “I wish you could remember what it was like back then, Ajay. Your mother and I, with you on her hip, oh those were the days. She was never happier than she was back then, and I should say the same for myself. We had such plans, not just for our little family, but for Kyrat. It wasn’t always like this, I long for those days but then it’s too late. I tried, I really really did, this place is ruinous. Try not to let them drag you down, Ajay. Ishwari didn’t send you back here for that.“ “Uncle Pagan here, just checking in on my favorite nephew. So tell me, Ajay, who are you rooting for so far? Have you fallen into Amita’s honey pot, or have you been dazzled by Sabal’s flowing locks and bad-boy jawline? Hey, each to his own, that’s your lifestyle choice to make. He isn’t my cup of tea, contrary to the rash assumption some may make about my appearance. I am indeed batting for the other team. You, more than most, should know that there was only ever one woman for me, my boy.” “I was in America not so long ago. I looked up Ishwari, but I couldn’t bring myself to see her, not after all these years. You always regret those decisions when they die, don’t you? Anyway, I was there with De Pleur, or rather “Paul Harmon”. He invited me to his home to meet his family, to see the other side of him. It was incredible to see the man behind the man. Paul, the loving father and husband. I was as jealous as I was happy for him. We went to his daughter’s school to see a recital. There was his darling Ashley, the light of his life. I could see the tears welling up in his eyes, so proud, so much love. It really made me think, what if I had followed Ishwari? What if that were you clumsily stumbling through a piano recital as I looked on teary-eyed through a viewfinder, capturing every precious moment. It always hits you when it’s too late, Ajay, always when they’ve gone.” “After Ishwari left it was a very dark time for me. Oh I was a cruel and angry young man. It’s this time more than any that gives me the reputation I have today. Yes, yes, I murdered countless innocents, yes I outlawed religion, yes I changed the currency so everyone’s savings were meaningless. And yes, I may have gone through a period of bathing in yaks’ blood and slamming rails of coke. But…I’m reformed now, look at me, getting this country back on it’s feet again. Top shape, Ajay. *snorts a rail of coke* Top shape.” “A word to the wise, Ajay. The next time you need something lanced, employ the services of a professional, as scarce as those services may be around here. Did you know because of your mother I sponsored an entire class of students to study medicine in Singapore? And they never came back! Can you believe the depth of that ingratitude? Paul dealt with their families here in Kyrat, and I had my contacts in Singapore track them down and find a fitting end for each of them, yes. Oh, as satisfying as that was, I now find myself lancing my own boils.” Pagan Min, most of the time, talks about his past. He absolutely can’t get over his loss, and the reason why he doesn’t bear any negative feelings towards Ajay, is that he can’t see him objectively, he sees him as the son of the woman he loved. Min constantly analyses his past, the choices he could have made, and basically lives in the past.
