Theo had his fair share of relationships but it felt like they all ended from them wanting something more from Theo, he didn’t think it was necessary to change for someone. If they claimed to love him, why would they try to change him. What he loved about Naomi was her patience and how much they genuinely got along, It felt like the perfect match. As Naomi spoke Theo nodded his head, showing that he was listening to her words. Theo flashed her a small smile, leaning in to press a small and gentle kiss against her cheek. “Well damn Naomi, don’t make me cry.” Theo said with a small chuckle. “I appreciate that, babe. I really do and us… we’re going to work. I promise you that. Kid or not, I still love you - I still want to work things out with you no matter what. Absolutely no one is comparable to you, you’re the best person that’s ever walked into my life.”

Naomi never felt safe- ever since she was young she had to be the one to grow up fast and have to put her life on the line to survive. From that, came a career that most looked down upon and that she got judged and ridiculed for and the relationships that came during that time were toxic and mostly just her being used by guys who thought it would be cool to have sex with a pornstar. No one ever saw her for her, Naomi. No one ever believed in her dreams like he did or made her feel like she didn’t have to carry the world on her shoulders for once and that she could do something for herself because she wanted to. That’s what made her so close to him, that right there is what made her fall in love with Theo. His ability to make her feel safe and believe in her like no one ever did. At the end of the day all she wanted in a partner was someone who would be her friend through life, who not only shared a physical and romantic connection but a soulful one and intellectual kind of love as well. Naomi chuckled softly nuzzling against his neck, she had missed his smell. Wrapping her arms around him she softly brushed her fingers through the hair at the bottom of his neck. “If anyone’s going to be crying it’s going to be me these next nine months, so get used to it.” she smirked. Listening to him she felt the hope in his words, and the genuine meaning behind them. She could tell he was serious and she felt that Theo was a man of action and through his words he showed them. “Say it again.” she giggled after he said he loved her. Looking deep into his eyes Naomi knew right there in that moment that baby or not she loved this man and that she wanted to live a life with him and their baby. “You saved me.” she breathed. “You make me feel so safe- and that’s how I know you’re going to be a great dad.” she smiled softly up at him. “You have so much love to give and me and this baby already love you with out entire hearts.”

Actions meant more than words. Their kiss took the words out of his mouth in a simple touch. That was how Theo showed his affectionate - touch. Bumping his leg against hers, tapping his fingers against his arm or even linking his pinky finger with hers. He was never good with words so the next best thing was touch. His teeth took his bottom lip between them as he looked up at her. “Why?” He murmured as his eyes fluttered shut as he leaned into her touch. “You trusted me and I hurt you. I don’t deserve another chance but here you are giving it to me.”

There were so many reasons not to take him back, so many reasons to to tell him where to go or to never speak to her again. Yet there were so many more reasons why she couldn’t do any of that. The connection they shared was more than physical, it was deep rooted and brought a sense of security Naomi had never felt. She knew the ins and outs of who he was and yet here she was, even after everything still so in love with him. “Because you saw me when no one else did. You saw me for more than just some porn star.. you cared- you made me feel safe. When that guy.. when that incident happened you took care of me and made me feel safe and loved- you became my home Theo. “I did trust you and you broke that- you have a long time to make that up to me but I’m going to give you that chance to instead of not trying to make it work. I’m having your baby, and truth be told even before I found out I was still in love with you. So call me crazy but here I am- loving you anyway. Some things you don’t just throw away because they’re hard work- somethings are worth fighting for. I believe we’re worth fighting for.” she leaned in and rested her head against his.

Theo couldn’t put his thoughts into words about how much he has missed Naomi. A day didn’t go by that he hadn’t thought about the girl and how he had messed up. He should have realized sooner that the love of his life and soulmate was right in front of him. You don’t realize what you’ve lost until it’s gone. He always thought that was a stupid saying but now he realized the importance of it. Theo slid his hand into hers, holding it close to his chest as he listened to the girl across from him. Before any words could fall out of his mouth, he felt himself leaning in and pressing his lips against hers. It felt like a drop of water hitting his tongue after months of being dehydrated. The only word that could describe the feeling was euphoric. Theo hesitantly pulled away, leaning his forehead against hers as he took a deep breathe in. “I love you too.”

In the moments between her confessing her feelings and Theo kissing her so much ran through her mind. His silence and the months of wondering how he felt or if he even missed her, the endless amount of questions and wondering and feeling like this moment would never happened. Everything was answered when their lips touched, it was like through them she had learned everything she needed to know and it was as if someone turned the lights on after months of living in complete darkness.instinctively Naomi reached her hands around and cupped his face, her arms draping around his shoulders. A kiss so deep, so passionate she could feel the power behind it. And just as she felt it in the kiss he said it out loud, and her heart leaped. “Oh, Theo.” she breathed into him. Curling into his body, her entire mind body and soul loved this man and now finding out she was carrying their baby she knew that there wasn’t a part of her that he hadn’t touched- every cell and fiber of her being loved him and so did their unborn child. “ if I could do it all again I’d still choose every road that led me to you..I love you so much.”

“Who said that I was ever going to do it alone when they have a perfect mom.” He said with a sweet smile as his thumb continued to graze over her skin. Truth be told, Theo wanted them to get back together - having a child or not. He knew he fucked up the first time and he was never going to the second. He was in love with her and the second he saw her for the time in months it felt like love had just punched him in stomach finally showing him that she was the one. “Definitely, I’ll text my friend.” he nodded before pulling out his phone to make some texts to multiple of his friends that were either doctors themselves or receptionists. “I think we have some catching up to do then.” Theo said softly as he planted a kiss against the back of her hand, his eyes staying on hers.

Naomi smiled softly looking down at the floor then back up at him, her chest tightening. His touch against her skin just adding to the chills she already felt around him. She had missed him for what felt like ages and even with him being this close to her right now it was as if she stilled missed him- she missed him in ways that she didn’t know if he even missed her. Of course feelings that strong don’t go away, she knew that. It made sense why she had felt this pull towards him, now- for the past month or so their child had been growing inside her and having him here felt like something in the universe just, clicked.Even in her deepest pits of despair or anger for Theo, one thing she couldn’t change was how much she loved him. It was something she couldn’t run from or couldn’t push down no matter how hard she tried. At the end of the day she knew that Theo Reese was the love of her life, whether he felt the same or not she wanted nothing more than to spend the rest of her life loving him and would continue to even without a baby in the mix. Nodding she smiled, “Okay, thank you.” she said genuinely. “We do.” she breathed. Watching him, she so badly wished his lips would just touch her own instead of her hand. Looking at him- her blue-green orbs drank him in. “I have to be honest..Theo when I said I missed you I wasn’t lying, I missed you in so many ways. Baby or not- I can’t help how I still feel about you and I just need you to know that in case you don’t feel the same so that this baby doesn’t blur things for me. I just- I love you and that hasn’t changed. But I can’t go these next nine months and maybe a life time together not letting you know.” she swallowed. “I understand if you don’t feel the same. But I don’t want our baby not thinking that they aren’t loved because our relationship is or isn’t happening.”

For the longest time he had craved Naomis touch, even a bump of the shoulder would be fine enough for him. It was like he felt electricity when their skin had finally met again after a long hiatus. “Yes I would.” He answered almost immediately. “Of course I would be, that’s my kid. My parents fucked up with me, not going to do that with my future kids.” Theo continued as he pressed a kiss against the top of her head before leaning his chin against her. “I’ve missed you too, Naomi.” He murmured, just above a whisper as his eyes fluttered shut. The last thing he wanted to do right now was let go of the girl.

The familiarity that was Theo eased Naomi’s nerves, even after everything he was still the one person she craved and felt the most comfortable around. Her eyes lit up at his answer not expecting him to be so adamant about wanting to keep their child. Her stomach fluttered and her heart squeezed, she imagined a life where a little blonde boy ran around, a mini them, a life where they were happy. But Naomi stopped herself from letting that dream get to far- she had to be realistic right now. “I just- I don’t know if I can live my life knowing my kid is out there when he or she..could just be with me instead?” she confessed. “We have a lot of thinking to do but I think I really need to get checked out by the doctor, do you think they’d be able to fit me in today?” Naomi smiled, and so did her heart as he spoke those words to her. “But we’re together now, that’s what matters. It means a lot to me that you’re here.” she held his hand and gave it a squeeze. “We’re going to be spending the next nine months together so.”

His eyes were glued onto her, all he wanted to do was make this better for her. His hand reached over, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear before sliding his hand to the back of her head. “No I believe you.” He whispered as he leaned his head against his shoulder. “Whatever you decide to do, i’ll be here supporting you… I’ll be with you every step, i’m not going to leave again.” Theo cooed, leaning in and pressed a kiss against the top of her head then sat back down. “It’ll be okay, i’ll call the doctors and set up an appointment so we can talk to them and make sure you’re okay. Does that sound fine?” The male had a lot of questions for her but the last thing he wanted to do was overwhelm her.

His touch ignited something in her that Naomi thought would never be unlocked again. This inner pull that she always had towards him- an ability only he had that pulled every fiber of her being towards him and craved his touch and affection. Looking into those eyes her own blue-green orbs started back, her body easing as he spoke. Naomi let out a sigh and nodded slowly, happy he believed her and was going to be there, her heart leaped to her stomach. “What if- Theo what if we go through with this- are we ready to be parents? Would you-” she looked at him, her face full of question. Scooting closer to him she crawled almost into his lab and rested her head against him. Taking a deep breath she breathed him in, he smelt like him. “Yes, yes that sounds great. I want to be sure everything is okay and start thinking about moving forward and what that means.. there’s a tiny..person in me and I don’t know how far along and what I need to do to make sure he or she.. is okay?” she swallowed. “I’ve missed you Theo.” she said nuzzling into his chest she didn’t know why but she just felt like she wanted to be close to him. After everything, and with their baby growing inside her as they spoke, one thing that hadn’t changed was how deeply she felt for him, even after it all.

How could this be? The last time they had spoken was months ago, she had to have sex with someone else int he time well at least he did. In the back of the uber he thought about this, it wasn’t the worst situation for him. Out of all the girls he had slept with, Naomi definitely was the best. He got along with her the best. Theo bursted through the doors like old times and rushed to the girl. The blond knelt down and stared at the bold “+” sign, running his hands through his hair in frustration. He sat down, leaning against the tub then turned to look at her. “So it’s mine?” Theo asked quietly in defeat.

Naomi looked at him for the first time in what felt like years, and that is when she felt that familiar pain in her chest. All the memories she tried to shut out for months on end flooded back and for the first time since she found out she was pregnant she took a deep breath and just wanted to cry. Seeing him there, she so badly wished that things would have gone differently but she couldn’t drag that up again- she spent so long trying to be okay that this couldn’t come in the way. Nodding she mumbled, “Yes.” her hand shook as it made its way down to her stomach and gently rested upon it. “I understand if you want a test to be sure, but I wouldn’t lie to you Theo- You were my last, I quit my job it’s been hell but it’s been months and you’re the last person I was with.” she breathed. “I don’t know what to do.. I don’t want to kill my-er..our baby.. but then again I don’t know if I can be a mom.” she started to tear up. “I’m scared.” Naomi’s eyes pooled with water. Looking at Theo she missed him and more than anything she just wanted him to tell her everything was going to be okay.

Theo went on with his life after the incident with Naomi, it hadn’t been easy though. Losing your best friend was hard, someone who you could talk to anything about and still be goofy around. He knew he fucked up but was too embarrassed to even call the girl back to talk or even send a text. He didn’t want to put any more stress on the girl so he decided to just go his way and let her go hers, wishing her nothing but the best. The blond did his thing, take care of his dogs and work.

It was an average day at the office - shooting, editing, and posting. The blond was stuck at his desk, a pen in between his fingers as he watched the raw video. As the creativity began to boil in his head it was soon cut off by his iphones ring. The male picked it up, not bothering to look at the name. “Hello?” Theo said as he placed his pen down, furrowing his brows at the familiar voice. “Y-you’re w-what?” He murmured, stumbling over his words nervously. Theo didn’t know what made him more nervous - talking to Naomi after months of no communication or that she was pregnant with what might be his kid. “I can come right now.” Theo said in a rush as he shot up out of his chair, scrambling to pick up all of his things on his desk and throw them into his backpack.

Naomi was silent on the line, she didn’t know what more to say she didn’t even know what to say at this point all she knew was that this was happening and there was nothing she could do about it. “Pregnant.” she repeated softly her eyes blankly staring at her reflection, her voice monotone. The girl nodded, as if he could see her and then hung up the phone. Sinking down against the tub she let her head lean back, her eyes were vacant. It was as if the shock of it all made her not able to react either good nor bad. There was no reaction. Just shock, What felt like only minutes later she heard Theo arrive, and soon was not alone. “I- I don’t know what to do.” she choked. Sliding the test across the tile floor she didn’t look at him, just the bright positive sign that stared back at her.

Fuck. Naomi growled underneath her breath. As she got up off the toilet she shook her head, running a hand through her loose brunette strands. She could have swore she was due, yet it’s been over a week and still no gift from aunt flow herself. Sitting on the edge of the porcelain tub she held her head in her hands and felt her chest flutter, knowing that it was a stretch but that it wasn’t out of the picture. Standing slowly she went to the bathroom cabinet and retrieved the tightly sealed box, tearing open the label and holding the stick in her hand. The next ten minutes seemed to be the longest of her life as she anxiously waited for the timer to go off, chewing whatever nails she had left at this point. The buzzer making her stomach drop she slowly made her way to the counter top and flipped over the test, “ + ” Pregnant. It was dark, almost as if to say yes idiot you haven’t noticed you’ve been feeling sick. She knew that with her old profession that the risk of these things was pretty great but being that the last person she was wth was him, she knew that the only person that was she needed to talk to about this was Theo.

It had been a couple of months, she wondered how far along she was at this point thinking about how much time has passed. She mentally debated not even calling him, just taking care of it and figuring it out. Naomi mulled over sending a text instead, maybe a snapchat of just the test, she chuckled to herself she didn’t know how she wasn’t breaking down yet she knew she had to keep her shit together or else she’d lose it. As the dial tone rang her breath caught in her throat, “Theo. It’s uhm- Naomi. I think we need to talk.. You see, I’m um . I’m pregnant. And I think it’s yours.” The shock finally hitting her she let her jaw go slack and the phone fall from her hand as she stared into the mirror and the reflection that looked back at her, one that she didn’t quite recognize.
