ah, here it is! the long awaited simblr birthday gift from me to you guys <3 happy birthday to me. i bring two things: a skinblend, and a matching eyeset.

Breakup, New Family Member, and Go Steady Wants/Fears Mod

This was made by a member of my community, Riftwalker, who graciously gave me permission to upload their edited version of the EA WantTrees.

THIS FILE DOES NOT GO IN YOUR MODS FOLDER.

This overwrites: The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Fun with Pets\SP9\TSData\Res\Wants\WantTrees.package

What is this?

EA broke their 'Break Up' wants in vanilla Sims 2. This fixes it, along with other fixes:

Teen, Young Adult, Adult and Elder sims of all aspirations can get a want and a fear for Break Up.

Teen, Young Adult, Adult and Elder sims can get a want and a fear to Go Steady.

This is already possible, but Riftwalker added "True" so that teens of all aspirations (instead of just family) and children can get a want "New family member", which is cute and it's them basically saying they want a new sibling.

Teens can roll woohoo wants. (Credits to Syberpunk on MTS)

In one instance, Uni wants for all aspirations has been enabled, and in another instance, engagement and left at alter wants and fears for all aspirations is enabled.

All Hail Fluffiness for The Sims 2

These are 4to2 conversions from Syboulette, low poly, all recolors.

For a better experience with the pet food bowls (also the automatic food dispenser) use the "No Rotating Pet Food Bowl" by Episim.

For the cat tree you can use the "One More Cat Slot" by Episim on the right cushion (the left one is already working).

@deedee-sims' 4t2 dog + cat sweater redux!

Please ignore the awful preview, I'm too lazy to be bothered. Also yes I know I said I would start uploading on dec 1.. yet here I am 🤡

I remapped the meshes and repo’d the cat files to the dog ones, so now all recolors share textures (meaning you have to install the dog recolor files - as well as the cat ones - even if you only install the cat sweater mesh). I lowered the texture size, going from 2048x1024 -> 512x720 (yes!). I also edited the textures slightly (I dislike ts4's cartoony/neon colors). I re-used DeeDee’s files, meaning you’ll have to choose between my version or DeeDee’s original.

I did poke at the cat mesh a bit, not sure if I made it worse or better. Could not fix this part though, it's been a hot minute since I assigned bones in milkshape:

This wasn't even visible in milkshape and no matter how much I studied the other side (which doesn't have this problem) I couldn't figure out which bone it should be assigned to :-/

No mipmaps and the files have been compressed to reduce file size. I tried merging the recs but unfortunately it didn't work (only one recolor showed up in-game) so separate recolors it is (but they are clearly named). Now I'm going to bed, it feels like I've missed something so do let me know if you stumble upon any issues.

bahidkw's christmas calendar - day 3

A simple texture replacement for the fireflies I’ve had in my WIP folder since.. 2019 😳 *cough*

Maxis’ fireflies are nice, but I wanted them more glowy and I couldn’t seem to get them more glowy when they were turquoise for some damn reason, so I changed them to a warm yellow/orange. I also changed the color on the jar lid to brown-ish, I've always disliked the red lid (idk why). You can choose if you want this lid-default or not, there are two files included so choose one of them.

Nopke’s animation fix is included (with thanks!) and edited to fit my default replacement. I’ve also edited the lighting, so now the jar will shine in a warm yellow color instead of a green one (and way less intense, not sure if that's my lightning mod's fault or Maxis original? but anyhow it was BRIGHT)

Like, damn!

Recommended mods: buyable butterflies/fireflies by Sims99Fanatic and Nopke's no jar leaving. Edit 2026-01-01: I forgot about pforestsims' firefly fx!

File has been compressed to reduce file size, no mipmaps. Remember you can only have one default replacement for the fireflies (and jar lid) in your download folder at a time, and if you have Simnopke’s animation fix, delete it before installing my default (it's included). Let me know if I messed up somewhere!

Simple Counter Solution Bar

Here's another addition to my Simple Counter Solution set - a bar!

The blender comes from TS4 Adventure Awaits and I made a default replacement for the accessory jug so it all matches.

The stool in the cover picture is the High with Importance Bar Stool converted from TS4 Lovestruck by @platinumaspiration. The BB niche recolour used is the white Retrolux recolour by @teaaddictyt.

These are 4to2 conversions from Icemunmun and Amellce, low poly. Available anytime in the dessert section of the fridge. Ikinari Dango has also a preparation and cooking stage so it requires the same layer cake cooking skills. The other two are already made dessert like the gelatin. Invisible plate is required and included.
