i didnt forget my Ultimate Husband
I haven’t really drawn them since my computer and tablet broke, it’s been so long 。・゚ヾ( థ < థ )ノ。゚・。
((Finally seeing them in hd 👏🏼✨))
R.I.P. my drawing hand
As I’ve been finishing up MEI, Badd has become one of my favorite characters in the game. Of course, this meant I needed to draw him.
I was going to add a bit more shading (on the ground and leg mainly), but it never looked good and tbh he looks superb already
Sketch+linework here
Wanted more Kay and Uncle Badd hanging out together he probably gave some people in the gallery mini heart attacks when able to watch Byrne up there with Kay
I was looking back at those old comics I did 2 years ago and wanted to whip up a more lighthearted ending to it.
Edgeworth found a way to tame Kay and became that one teacher who constantly calls your parents when you misbehave.
Turns out it’s 50% effective
Just some family time
Some Faraday family fun draws
pssst
“......?”
*She catches bugs and places them at the front door as offering for her human to try the delicacies* ,^•ﻌ•^,
He scooped up the bugs with a piece of paper, then disposed of them when he thought Cheddar wasn’t watching. “Thank you...”
*He looks like he wanna say something but refrains to*
“......Faraday....What’s on your mind?”
byrnefaraday:
“Will do.” Hitting that last note with a confident tone he happily accepted the offer, which didn’t take long for him to get back from his little quest–and of course was careful to not let Badd’s new furry companion follow him on his way out.
Finally having everything in their possession and knowing his partner will be ready as soon as he came back Byrne hopped in the car without hesitation.
He waited for him to return, hoping the dog wouldn’t follow him back. He double checked himself to make sure everything was there. His lollipop popped into his mouth, wrapper in his pocket. He allowed his mind to wander to what bits and pieces he could recall of last night.
Once he returned, Badd snapped out of his thoughts. He hopped into the car before driving them to their destination. He felt comfortable in their silence. Once he parked, Badd nodded to Byrne. Knowing he’d understand what his thoughts were. Once Byrne was dropped off, Badd made his way to the precinct. First he dropped off the swiss roll slice to Angel. Her prying into his personal life was disregarded with a denial and internalized worry that she could see through him.
*She looks out the window watching him leave and wondering when her human will come back and play with her* ,^•ﻌ•^,
“....” I shouldn’t have looked back....dammit..
*She runs around both of them hoping she gets to take her human out* ,^•ﻌ•^,
“....Cheddar, you’ll have to wait until I get back...”

“….No, it just seems like you’re avoiding her…Something happen?”
He considered it for a second before taking his apartment key off, handing it to him. He could have sworn he had given Byrne a spare by now.
“Do you not have a key?”
He had been around Byrne that he felt like he had to have given him a key. Unless Byrne just picked his lock. Which also seemed plausible too.
“You could say that, it’s nothing major.” Part of him was unsure about telling him of Angel’s attempt to act behind the scene just yet.
He began patting his pockets at the mention until he realized whatever was hanging in his jacket would have been gone recalling how his clothes were recklessly thrown into the room yesterday. Nor was he too internally happy to figure out Badd surely took his stash out of his special snack pocket in a more secure place to wash his clothes.
“Hm… if you did I probably misplaced it? I don’t go that often into your home Badd.”
Well, it was mostly due to little Faraday junior requesting Badd to see them he ended up frequenting his home more often. And most of the time his partner always opened the door to his apartment for him, the lack of it wasn’t that big of a problem–or in this case noticable. If Byrne was that desperate he’d just use his thieving skills to make himself at home anyway.
“I could use another way to open your door it’s your call. But I feel like using your key would be a faster alternative right now.”
“...You sure?” He didn’t know what Angel was doing, or had done, but she had bothered him a few times about him and Byrne.
He pulled out his keys again for him. “Here.” He didn’t mind that Byrne asked him to come over more often than them going to his place. After all, it was easier for one person to go somewhere than two. Nor did he mind if Byrne did break in and enter his apartment.
He preferred opening the door for him so that he didn’t get in trouble with the law. Or other tenants.
“Just put her slice on a plate....” He figured it’d be good enough. He could use this time to go over the events of last night.
byrnefaraday:
“Huh?”
He looked up in thoughts, scratching his head. “I wouldn’t say avoid per se… why? Is it wrong for me to wish for some space?”
Badd was an exemption, his presence never bothered him as his partner either made a pretty big percent of his impulse control or kept him in check, and with knowing each other for so long having him by his side felt as natural as breathing oxygen to him.
As for the other detective… he would rather have some space before she came at his throat for his new relationship and the prolonged time it took for it to happen.
“I mean you can always use the kitchen in the precinct it doesn’t have to be right this moment.”
Aware of the time he extended his arm. “If you’re worried about that then how about I go fetch it. Just give me the house key while you start the car.”
If it took too long he could always run back, after all the ex-thief was a much faster option than the heavily built detective.
“....No, it just seems like you’re avoiding her...Something happen?”
