Jaime Guttenberg Facts

She was 14 years old.

Her parents are Fred and Jennifer Guttenberg.

She had one older brother, Jesse.

Jaime was born on July 13, 2003 in South Florida.

She was dancer at Dance Theatres of Parkland.

Her favorite color was orange.

She was freshman at high school.

Jaime knew Gina Montalto and both volunteering with The Friendship Initiative.

She was Jewish.

Her funeral and buried were on Feb 18, 2018.

Her burial is in Star of David Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

On the day of shooting, Jaime was the one of people were trapped in the hallway on the third floor. She may have seen Nikolas the shooter in the hallway then running off and end up got shot in the back.

Jaime kept running to stairwell then collapsed when her spine cord severed by a bullet.

Her body was found in the stairwell on the third floor of the 1200 building.

She knew Cara Loughran from group of friends.

Her middle name was Taylor.

In the future, Jaime wanted to become a pediatric physical therapist to be able to help children with limb deformities.

She was a dog lover and had two dogs, Charli and Cooper.

Jaime’s father learned about his daughter’s death from a friend who is a Coral Springs SWAT officer.
