What if like. Every dark world was a different event/ fashion showcase?
CH1 would be more like the stuff I mentioned last time with a more high-fantasy kind of vibe (???)
The fun gang are much the same, except Susie’s hair is more in her face and Ralsei’s big ol hat obscures a lot of her outfit in shadow with the lighting
Lancer is just a little boy so he gets to wear a Lancer Tshirt and a cape! Not too long of a cape though cause he enters the runway on his bike and it can’t get caught in the bike
King has a really bulky silhouette with perhaps a darker colored vest showing underneath the layers, and a flail connected to his belt as a callback to his tummy mouth attacks
ROUXLS KAARD MY GOAT… they could never make me hate you…. He’s got the same dark blue jacket and form fitting pants but the silhouette changes slightly in every show to mirror the character(s) he’s pursuing (CH1 he’s got mini little flail chains on his jacket and a spade brooch, CH2 he has a much shorter neckpiece mirroring Queen, CH3 he’s got shoulder pads and a pencil skirt over his pants, etc.)
CH2 is a lot more tech-y and techwear inspired I think!
Kris’s armor becomes more chunky and futuristic (think aperture science shape language)
Susie’s spikes become rgb lights and that’s the only change for her lmao
Ralsei has a really cutie skirt over pants look with a green puffy techwear jacket with a big collar in the color of his scarf
Regular Degular Queen has a big white neckpiece like in-game, except it’s translucent and has little circuitry on it that occasionally lights up, she’s got a long sleeve black bodysuit with a blue vest type deal over it and white circuit pattern tights underneath, and shiny chunky black heels
Her visor is like those big round headphones with the front sunglasses/visor piece attached to it.
Giga Queen is p much how I described her before I think
Noelle is a lot more cold looking, with a more form-fitting and less “fantasy princess mage” look. Her long skirt is see-through blue and underneath she’s got white pants, and her long-sleeve cloak, rather than being flowy, is just kinda constricting her movements (I like to think it’s one of those that flares out starting at the elbow but stays tighter everywhere else)
Berdly’s more like.. solar punk looking? Like with the hippie style he’s got going, I feel like big baggy pants and lots of layered earth-tone techwear plus accents of greens blues and whites (to match Queen and Noelle’s color scheme) would work really nicely !! And over top he’s got like a white vest with Queen regalia on it signifying his allegiance ! Maybe those hair wraps people do with embroidery thread but with white and neon green beads in them?
None of his clothes properly fit, either far too baggy or far too small- the glasses are very large and sit on the end of his nose
Visible patchwork on everything
Very cunty look- the wings are mechanical and move as he walks, made out of recycled material painted to look like popups. big sharp armored pieces on his arms, and platform heels making him far taller than he is. Clothes fit much better now, tailored to fit him precisely- tulle skirt in his color scheme with lots of sharp angles. This outfit should be Uncannily angular and almost 2-d looking I think- think like an Aerial Silks routine to represent the strings puppeting him
CH3 is a LOT of fun with the minigame costumes!
Tenna has his classic 3 piece suit, obviously, I’m not sure what else to do for him he’s already fitted up
Susie, Kris, and Ralsei change outfits from minigame to minigame, but I think an interesting throughline could be loungewear/pajamas? To like really bring home the fact that this is their movie night together at Kris’s house? Like maybe Susie has pj pants with little axes on them, Kris is wearing slippers over their boots and a sleep mask covering their eyes, and Ralsei has a kinda gauzy flowy nightgown look going on and a bonnet
Everything else is layered over top, I think
That’s rlly all I’ve thought about with ch3 tbh…
I think that this one should feel like they’re in their Sunday best in the first dark world, and like they’re going to the library in Susie’s
Susie’s leather vest gets layered over a button down shirt, her ripped pants are patched, and her hair’s up in a ponytail
Ralsei has a maxi skirt, a blazer, and a very cute little ribbon in her fur
Kris has their armor over church robes like Toriel’s but in their color scheme
Gerson is a librarian, and dresses like one. Dark brown blazer with patched elbows, matching slacks, etc. I feel like he wears a lot of small pins on his blazer regarding different books
In Gerson’s battle, on the other hand, he’s armored up and doing tricks on that hammer!!!! Old man who knows pole dancing techniques and goes crazy with it while fighting Susie. Maybe his costume resembles hers more, during this battle
Susie has Gerson’s blazer over her outfit this time
Kris is wearing a sweater like their light world one under armor this time
Ralsei’s dressed a bit more casually than before
Ch5- idrk guys I just think that the flowers through-line for all the designs is some kind of design of each kind of flower on their outfits
Kris’s blue roses mean their armor gets thorns
Susie’s violets become a hairpin that keeps it out of her eyes
Ralsei’s Artemisia get embroidered on her scarf
Anime-influence goes hardcore with the flowers, but they each still have their own unique styles I haven’t thought too hard about yet :3
