Ah jeez, this wasn't good. The child internally panics, not sure what to do now. So they just latch onto his leg tightly, not letting go until he's happy again.

"N-no flowers and tea are cool trust me! I just think that if you enjoy things other people are into, you'll be even more fun!"

That's all they had. Either that would help this poor soul or Mercy would feel the guilt for the rest of their life.

“Well…it’s not that I have nothing to do but more like…you aren’t into modern day things. You’re into flowers and tea and stuff, that isn’t necessarily fun.” They tried to tell him that he’s boring in the nicest way possible. Hopefully he wouldn’t take it the wrong way.

Taking a step back, Mercy looks the skeleton up and down, taking inany detail about his appearance that they may have missed before. “So, are you a ghost or something? Why are your clothes white? Are you like, a future version of the present Sans? How old are you? Are you dead or alive? Maybe you’re in between? What happened to your eyesocket? Why are you constantly bleeding?”

They begin to bombard him with questions, probably all coming at him too quickly for him to give valid answers.

Greetings. I´ve returned from a relatively long hiatus and would very much like to get back into things - the craving to write has been immense lately. Mercy had been sitting on a bench at the park, sketching in a notebook again, when they saw someone who seemed so familiar. It wasn't her appearance that was familiar but just the presence of her seemed familiar.

So i might be a good idea to say hi. Mercy decides to wave over at the other, to try and catch her attention.

The Mystery Man! As soon as Mercy set their eyes on him their face lights up with happiness. Had he finally gotten out of that grey room back in the Underground? Although he looked a little different from the last time they saw him. But that didn't really matter, they were just happy to see him.

Mercy reaches up to him with grabby hands trying to get a hug out of him. Sure they weren't really friends but why not?

It was Sans again? The child stares at him confused as heck. They could've sworn they saw him at his hotdog stand just a few minutes ago, so how'd he get home so quickly? Was it one of those shortcut things he's always doing?

They poke his cheek trying to get answers out of him. But that method probably wasn't going to work very well.

The child stares down, deep in thought. Did robots even need to eat? If they do, where does the food go? They don't have digestive systems...or do they? Mercy had discovered another unsolved mystery, along with the fact that Sans and Papyrus eat when they don't even have stomaches. Maybe it was best if they didn't question such things.

There weren't many resturants they new of that Mettaton would enjoy, most of them selling really greasy food and being unclean. There was always Grillby's, the only place they really enjoyed.

"I usually go to Grillby's but i'm not sure if you'd like it there. There aren't alot of healthy choices to choose from, I don't like many of the human resturants...Sans sells hotdogs down at the park, but i'm not sure if he's there today. What kind of food do you want exactly?"

Another thing they were thinking about was how Mettaton was right about them getting growing. It had been awhile since a reset and this was the longest they'd gone without one.
