♦ That’s alright, I’d say I have fairly tough skin! Living as long as I have and surviving a war tend to do that to you.
Rose says at first in a light hearted tone, before she becomes more serious and gently places a hand on the blushing monster’s shoulder. This had been... something she’d contemplated for a LONG time, especially after everything she had learned about the more romantic relationships while on Earth. Sure, while at first they’d been out of fun and seemed very temporary in an immortals eye, Rose had come to find the other parts of relationships to be more...worthwhile.
Support, growth, actual love... Despite not being with Greg anymore, she was thankful that he’d taught her so much in the short time they spent together.
♦ But Geno, the real reason I’d like a relationship with you is because I deeply feel as though we can help one another. Talking with you just feels natural and comfortable, you’d be surprised to know how rare a thing that is for me...
“Well… I don’t think I’m confusing!” Blue fiddled with his scarf, looking up at you with a small smile. He seems to be looking for the right words. “...I just want everyone to be friends! Cause friends are nice to each other and they help each other.” He gives a small salute, grinning widely now. “That’s why I’m going to do my absolute best to be in the Royal Guard! So I can protect all my friends too!”
It doesn’t seem like he’s going to change his mind anytime soon. But he’s looking up at you happily either way.
This was strange, yet intriguing all at the same time for the child. They had no idea that they could actually traverse that scary space of pitch blackness, instead of just automatically returning to life at their previous SAVE. While this place did creep them out, they figured it wouldn’t do any harm to do some exploring at least once, just to see what else there was.
And for a long time there...wasn’t really much. Just darkness for as far as they could see. That is, until, they saw a color that stood out starkly in the black.
Red.
Excited at first by the discovery, they rush towards it to see what they had found, only to slow down and stare with shock when they found a strange looking skeleton. Strange as in, he had white blocks glitching in shape all around him, covering bits of his face and body. A bit surprised, but not any less deterred to find out who this was, they approached until they were nearly at his side, staring up at him with a curious expression.
((alksdjfldkjfla okay. there are way too many for me to answer this completely! but i’ll give you some. i just hope people don’t get upset if they aren’t listed, there are genuinely way too many for me to dedicate to one answer! i love everyone so much, though~!
Dusty was strolling through the underground, moving towards the Ruins. Back towards where she had fallen into the Underground. For most versions of her, it had been some time since they had visited the room. For others, they had visited it daily. A few Never visited, but decided it was finally time. Whatever their reasons, and whatever the rhyme, every single version of her was moving to the first room on this day.
Every single version of her in perfect synchronization, across every single instance. They all coincided at exactly the same point in their realities, unaware of the immediate threat this brought. None of them saw it coming. None of them could have imagined it. Even the most cruel of universes she existed in didn’t prepare her for what came.
It happened with blinding speed. She only saw the blur for long enough to have questioned whether or not she saw it, but it was fast enough for the blur to complete it’s task. A single strike. One singular strike had been issued forth, and it was the strike that resulted in the month or years of ensuing pain and torment for so many.
The blur was their, and the strike landed. 999 points of damage were dealt to her faster than she could have possibly reacted, instantly dropping her HP to zero. The gash across her chest quickly became bloodied. It was only through an immense act of determination that all versions of her lived long enough to say their goodbyes, before succumbing to their wounds. To Frisk, To Amaranth, To the Monsters, to the Humans. To all she said her goodbyes.
Had the wound been normal, she might have been able to reset. Had she immediately let herself succumb to it, she might have been able to reset. But neither of those were the case, an so she didn’t. She wasn’t able to. Every single version of Dusty died at the same instant. All versions of her.
All versions of her, except for the one that had nobody to go to. She could not go to the monsters, due to the guilt she held for slaughtering all of them time and time again. She could not go to the humans, for she hated everything about them. But, she could not die, because she felt she still had something to complete in this world. Some purpose she had not yet fulfilled.
It was then that she raised her fingers, and thought to the one who hated her most of all. The one who unintentionally taught her the very way she intended to escape this death. And with a snap, the last Dusty vanished from the universe, appearing in the dark void. And yet, it wasn’t the void. The Save Screen loomed around her, the two buttons hanging in the air. And a familiar, hostile presence at her back. A presence she had not personally forced her, but knew that she could have very well caused. A single word escaped from her lips, at the same time that every other Dusty finally reached their end...

As soon as the child set their eyes on the skeleton, tears began to form. Sadness and fear was all they felt right now. It looked like their Sans but less colorful, his right eye was looking all glitchy, Papyrus's scarf, and that signature slash across the chest that reminded them of the wrongs they've done.
Honestly, Mercy was afraid he was going to attack them.
“S-Sans?? Is that you?” She couldn’t say exactly how she’d gotten to this place, the darkness of this place was extremely heavy to say the least. But if there was one thing she could say, it was that she hadn’t been expecting to see anybody else here, let alone someone that looked like Sans.
The problem was, he looked almost...well, that huge red gash over his chest couldn’t be anything good.
“What happened, and what are-what are you doing...here?” She paused as Alphys looked around the area one more time, almost cautiously. “...Um, where is here??”
