@deustemporis
Okay so @q2qcomics and I are currently apartment hunting for the fall and I just stumbled upon the weirdest apartment ever.
Like at first, wow this looks nice:
How can it be only $650/mo?? Something’s gotta be wrong with it.
… And then you find the floorplan:
Like… WTF is this place? And you realize it’s on bottom of three “apartment units” (Clearly this was meant to be one big place).
This is your enterance:
Have fun living in the maintenance hallway under the rich folks.
It comes with such stunning features as:
Creepy ass long murder hallways.
A room with many doors (all closets).
A bathroom that’s clearly just meant for storage.
And whatever this thing is in your kitchen.
I hope you like wine, A LOT.
this. this is a video game apartment. be wary of lurking assassins. any stray chests probably contain loose gold or weapons
honestly I’d totally live in this amateur counter strike mapper’s first map
I don’t give a shit that the bathroom is in another timezone its cheaper than anything around here
This is literally the first level of Hitman 2
What the fuck
what does it all mean
the plot fucking Thickens
maybe im just reading into this but i think wikipedia is trying to tell me to have sex with the pope

Dumonthier Dagger combined with a Double-barrelled Pistol
Date: third quarter of the 19th century
Culture: French
Measurements: overall length 50 cm
The dagger features a straight, double-edged blade of lenticular section, with a thin, central fuller on almost the entire length. On one side of the blade there’s a mark that reads “DUMONTHIER / BREVETE D.on / A MOUDAN”. The blade is provided with a muzzle-loading barrel on each side, with smooth bore and 10 mm caliber. The iron quillon and parry arms when lifted they automatically extract the two foldaway triggers placed within the grip.
The dagger also has thick, brass grip scales, worked with twisted grooves and a curved pommel with a fine, bas-relieved trophy of arms on dotted ground. This is also provided with a small loop at the edge. The dagger is completed with the wooden scabbard with brown leather covering, with a seat for both the blade and the barrels. The scabbard is provided with brass mounts and a cap with small hook.

No utensil needed. Just unwrap and bite into the irresistible peanut-buttery taste of new Jif™ Bars!
Is this just… a stick of solid peanut butter?
Why has no one thought of this before?
“Effluent” has to be nicest way I’ve ever seen to phrase “shit filled water”
I just want to know what this one Latin inscription says. This has led to wandering through barely usable databases written in a combination of German, Latin, and English which may or may not have an explanation of what their abbreviations mean. Somehow I’ve finally found an article on the subject which basically says no one is sure what it says and adds quotes in English, Italian, and Latin of modern scholars insulting each other over their transliterations of this inscription.
