So, I just spent the last few weeks in sweaters and wearing layers because of the cold well I just got home for Christmas and damn it’s hot! I went to the beach at least twice this week alone and my fridge is stocked with ice pops - Summer in Australia is melting and I forgot how bad it was since I haven’t been here for Summer in a few years now. So looks like I’m living at the beach for a few weeks until I head back to sunny California and freeze just a little. @hchqstarters​

Dude, Australia always seems hot as balls whenever I visit, no matter what time of year it is. Good on ya for hitting the beach, but I’m shocked that it’s only happened twice this week. I would’ve figured twice on Monday, twice on Tuesday and once today for good measure. You seem pretty sunburn resistant, too, so you probably don’t need much sunblock. Can’t imagine what that life must be like because I become a lobster lady within the first hour.

Someone said “okay boomer” to me today and I’ve been on the internet enough to know it’s an insult but… I don’t really know what it means other than I’m old and not down with the kids which is totally wrong. I know what kids like. Rick and Morty, Justin Bieber, memes, general discussions about how amazing Star Lord is - that’s what kids are into these days. Is there an insult to say back to anyone who calls you a boomer? If there isn’t then I vote we come up with one. @hchqstarters​

There are several ways you can break a young person’s spirits these days. Remind them of the debilitating cost of school, the inability to buy a car that isn’t used, never being able to afford retirement, or global warming. At least, those are the things that’d make me cry. Not sure on the nickname thing, though.

I know everyone’s really focused on holiday music right now, but I’ve been super into classic jams by some iconic women. Today alone I’ve had If I Could Turn Back Time by Cher and Proud Mary by Tina Turner on repeat! What earworms have been plaguing everyone else lately? I need to know what my next fixation is.

And no, I nursed a bottle of wine and watched some trash TV before crashing. I didn’t leave my bed once.”

Are you taking pleasure in my pain? Because you know it’s my favorite thing about you. Lots of caffeine and concealer, girlfriend, as I’m sure you can relate to. Oh hells yeah, you’ll love the zombie props. There’s a funky prosthetic arm in the mix and I can only imagine what kind of hell you’ll put Pratt through with it. You’ve gotta send me video. God, I’m SO ready. I don’t wanna do another press junket for at least a decade. I physically don’t think my body can handle the caffeine again. Of course I will, my soul’s craving a puppy hangout sesh. Do you need me to bring anything over? Booze? Sides? ... Booze?

They need their Aunt Zoey in their lives so they can learn all your sass qualities and defeat the world when we’re all long gone. Listen, I’m well aware that there’s no good excuse for my jackassery. If you’d like to hear it, though, I fell into an ages-long slumber after months of promoting shit and am just now coming out of hibernation. I picked up some sweet zombie props along the way that the twins and Jack are gonna love. I’ll bring them over tomorrow so you can get some sleep for a change. I can hold twins in both of my arms at the same time, right?

I just found out that there are new episodes of Nailed It on Netflix, so my plans for this fine Sunday evening are to pack my bags, pick up several cartons of ice cream and mosey on over to your place so we can watch ‘em all and judge accordingly. Unless you have other plans, which... man, that’d be a real bummer.

I have to admit since moving to America I’ve really started to get into celebrating the American holidays. I’m so full from Thanksgiving yesterday. Today I put up my Christmas tree and was already playing my Christmas music. I hope I can continue this holiday spirit until Christmastime.

We screw a lot of shit up but we tend to get our holidays right most of the time. I’m glad you had a good Thanksgiving though! What kind of ornaments do you have? My mom is all about having those little ribbon bow-tie things on her Christmas tree, so it normally looks like it’s on its way to the Yule Ball or something.
