      “Mmngh–” Trailing the low groan into a faint murmur of sound, Akira pauses after taking out the latest batch of clippings to drag an arm across his forehead, mindful not to smudge his glasses. He might not need them, but they’re important nonetheless. Tilting his head back toward the shop, the quiet is broken only by the faint shuffle of someone in the corner, near the roses.            “Sorry; has anyone helped you yet?”  

“Hm?”

His attention finally tears away from the vibrant colored petals, brought back to reality by the sound of a voice. Considering he hadn’t heard anyone else enter or moving about, Rei figures he should respond to the inquiry, popping out from wherever he’d been to offer a wave to the voice’s source.

“Most certainly not! Though really, I was alright... mm, on second thought. Perhaps I could use assistance; I seem to be rather indecisive, today.”
