ALL ROUNDER SISTER

Before I begin with my blog I would sincerely thank Anuradha Arora Manaktala (sister) for her ideas and giving me a heads up for composing this blog.

In my many say 80% of blogs have been little bit of propaganda or little complaining in nature. This blog is going to be the best but yet bit challenging for me as I am writing in honor of that person who is my Eldest Sister and like a mother also too me.

Her name as I or anyone can say with pride is Dr Sulbha Arora and since she is eldest we will address her as Didi(hindi word for sister). Sulbha Didi is the first child born in our family and since childhood didi has been multi talented and hardworking also. Be it any field school debates or even as a youngster in colleges didi has just nailed everything with perfection. Her aim was clear that she wanted to be a successful doctor and today she is the best ever gynaceologist doctor not only in India but on a global scale also and this is a big moment of pride for all those who know Sulbha didi.

Nothing came easy for didi in her life even as a doctor she has struggled a lot in life and seen very tough days in her entire journey of being what she is today. During her college times when didi took the responsibilities of serving in a rural village of Jalgaon in Maharashtra that project has made her very strong and formed her career as a successful doctor and also many people do not know that Sulbha Didi has a record of working 56 hours at a stretch in a hospital whose name I am at present not sure but this is a big record and all I can say is "Amazing Didi".

Above all was a little introduction or summary about Didi's professional life but now what I am going to write more is that part of Sulbha Didi which will make us very proud of her. Sulbha Didi in her spare time has raised voice for helpless and voiceless animals also believing in the fact that they too are a part of our environment. On her social media platforms be it instagram, facebook or any other ways, didi has always advocated animal protection and tried to put an end towards cruelty on them be it anyhow. To the extent that didi is a vegan in her food choices also. Her love and concern for animals be it any animal has been since long time since I was a child have seen didi always caring for animals and this makes her the "TRUE HERO". From her I also learnt to be caring about our animals though I have not raised a voice against animals being tortured in shameful ways but this is the best thing about didi and I am proud of her.

My title says "All ROUNDER SISTER" because as I mentioned that didi is just excellent in all skills of life. She is no doubt the best doctor and also a Animal rights advocate but in personal life she has always helped all the needy people even in her own family and close ones. She has been good in Mathematics and science and english language also and when I had scored great in English in my Board exams it is all because of Sulbha Didi...A big hug to you.

There are many achievements of Sulbha Didi for which there is google and everyone can read about didi's achievements. All I want to say to Sulbha Didi is DIDI I thank you always for teaching me everything and always encouraging me to do well in life and always being there for everyone who ever needed you. From My heart I pray that may you keep rising high in life and we al are inspired by you to always choose the right paths in life....HAPPY 50Th Birthday DIDI WE ALL LOVE YOU....

Double Trouble

From June 18th 2026 to June 23rd 2026 the whole country witnessed two murders and it has sent shockwaves everywhere as both the victims in the case were innocent. The title "Double Trouble" is because these both incidents have held equal importance and also question the lack of security and severe lapse of Law and Order.

Let us first take Siya-Ketan and Chetan case

1.Siya Goyal Case

This case took place on 18th june 2026. Siya is alleged to have thrown a wealthy, Rich and very innocent Ketan Agrawal along with her Boyfriend Chetan. The wedding was going to take place in Pawna and some days before Siya and Ketan had gone for a trek to Lohagad fort. From there Siya and her boyfriend pushed Ketan and this turned into a tragic murder.

Many reports said that Siya was not happy with her Fiance Ketan Agrawal and also there were lot of photos and Videos of Siya being circulated on Social media with Chetan her Boyfriend. In the investigation Siya has said to admit that Ketan wears a wig to hide his baldness and this is a very debatable matter.

Learnings from this case- First of all along with Siya who else is responsible for a loss of life of innocent person. I feel personally that Siya's parents are also equally responsible for this tragedy. Not that Siya and her boyfriend are innocent they are guilty too. I have dragged Siya's parents because now days either girl side family or boy side family consider Marriage as a business prospect and all they see is how much they will monetarily benefit from the marriage which is absolutely shameful. Exactly the same thing has happened in this case. Siya had admitted that she was not happy with the alliance but she did not tell it to her parents and they forcefully patched her up with Ketan. So this is a big lesson to be learnt specially in Indian parents that they should ask their children(Son or daughter) and not control their life regarding Marriage decisions as its not some light issue its a decision to be taken very carefully as it involves two families also.

2. Mayank Lohar Vs Roshan Suvarna

The lifeline of Mumbai the local train is a place where lakhs of people commute and make friends or short time acquaintances and so many people travel and sometimes there are minor or major arguments but on 23rd June 2026 just a minor debate ended an innocent Mayank Lohar's life.

A young man Mayank Lohar boarded a churchgate to Virar local train to return home after a day's hardwork and in the same compartment was a 30 year old devil named Roshan Suvarna was also travelling. Mayank wanted to shut the door of the train compartment due to rains but he was stopped by Roshan and the minor debate went out of hands so much that Roshan pulled out a knife and brutally killed Mayank and rest of the commuters were too shocked to react as it happened within span of seconds. Mayank lost his life just over a trivial issue and his family clueless that he passed away so soon.

Learnings from this case- Undoubtedly Roshan Survana is a culprit. But equally to him culprits are also those commuters in the train compartment who did nothing at all to save a life as maybe they got too scared that they may also loose a life if they protested but they were comfortable watching a gruesome murder and taking videos for entertainment. Unfortunately there is a saying "Mob has no face" so it is very difficult to arrest the rest of the commuters. The Major learning is adjustment in train as I have also personally seen that when people travel in local trains sometimes they commit acts like not letting anyone enter in their compartments and in train fight over trivial issues even to the extent of abusing each other. Its an appeal to commuters that if you are travelling in trains please be considerate to others also and not resort to hooliganism. Second and most important point is now after this Mayank's case Police authorities must make security checking a must. They should not allow any suspicious thing in train which can harm some one.

Conclusion

In the First Case Siya Goyal's it is still a debatable matter as who should be punished and I have already mentioned in the learning part. Siya's Parents have openly said that if her daughter is found guilty she should be given strict punishment which can give a hint that this case will not be easily solved as lawyers from both sides are trying their best to win the case. Who is the real culprit ?? only Time will tell as this case will go quite far.

In Train Murder case there is no doubt that Roshan Survana is the culprit and as a responsible citizen I wish that Roshan Survana be hanged to death. He had no right to kill anyone and his act has given an unbearable trauma to Lohar family who also seek justice for Mayank Lohar.

Unmatched Aura

Before I start the post let us pray for the veteran actor Sir Ramakant Dayama best known for his role in Chak De India and also his last movie was Crew along with Tabu, Kareena Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. He also acted in a chewing gum advertisement. May his soul Rest In peace.

My all previous blogs have mostly say 95% been on issues relating in many things be it cricket, government, crimes and many other things. Hence let this bog be little fun and entertaining and I need everyone's support and participation through comments. Today we are going to write about the unmatched aura of old Television serials which have held a special place in our hearts till the time Balaji's saas-bahu serious sagas and family dramas crept in.

These are my top time and the closest ones which I remember very closely but I know the list is huge and you all are welcomed to add more if I missed some.

The era of 90s saw a great number of epic social drama serials and we could relate to them personally also. That time even though content has always been the king and hence those epic sagas held a special place in hearts of all before Ekta Kapoor started her "K" obsession serials and repeating the same story in almost most of her serials and making villians stronger than the protagonists and testing patience of viewers.

Nothing personal against the serials of 2000s but they could not match the same aura as the 90s serials had. Even today I am quite sure that todays present serials also will fail against the 90s serials which had everything for all viewers and had great content. I remember when in 2020 when covid 19 pandemic struck and a nationwide lockdown forced people to stay indoors and too relieve them of boredom TV channels started telecasting Balika Vadhu and Mahabharat and Ramayan. They should have added older serials also which would attract more audience

This was about serials and now lets bring our focus to music shows and Reality shows of that era. Thanks to Antakshari, Top Ten music show, MTV Select and such shows we grooved into Non-filmy music also which were also great.

As I said in starting If I may have missed any other name which was unintentional please write back to me on whats app and lets make this blog a fun and entertaining one. The Above list I mentioned were the one I used to watch frequently hence I remembered them.

TARGETS KILL APPROACH

I am sorry to all of you that I could not write a blog in this much time as we were shifting to new house and had lot of personal issues which I can not reveal now. The new house is fantastic and has many things in itself.

Before I start my today's topic let me pray my heartful tribute to Asha Bhosle ji who passed away on 12th April. We lost a renowned and sweet singer.RIP Ashaji.

Today in this post I will be talking about that aspect of marketing and sales that drops a bomb on the people working in this field. It is called "TARGETS". We all are aware that any sales or marketing job is incomplete without this challenge of Targets. I really am not sure whether this target concept is in all fields also or limited to Sales/Marketing. If anyone has some idea please share.

On one side I will say that it is a good challenge to keep employees hooked up and be a bit busy but to be very brutally Honest I will say that at times TARGET concept is killing the fact of "Customer satisfaction". How? Let me simply explain through an incident that happened in front of me when I was unfortunately working under AMEX in 2013. One of my colleague had gone to meet his customer to explain him and convince the customer about benefits of AMEX card and by mistake my colleague in desperation said to the customer "Sir please buy the card I have to complete my sales target" and for this the colleague got lot of abuses from our manager named Mr. Nitin Agrawal whose name I mentioned in "Clear the Air Blog". This goes to say that how big companies like AMEX CARD pressurize their employees and senior level managers tie the employee's legs and expect them to run meaning one on side managers give impossible targets to achieve and If an employee fumbles the managers take their cases.

This is just an incident which happened right in front of me in 2013. The above incident is a proof that how the challenge of Targets is killing the actual approach of giving good services to customers. The employees in office are also trapped in a "Rooster Coop" as mentioned in Aravind Adiga's The White Tiger novel meaning inspite of knowing their fate employees cannot protest as their Salaries are in senior's hands. This Salary problem is also a different issue and a By product trouble in itself. Everyone knows that how bosses in companies threaten their employees by cutting their salaries and the power misused.

The above article may not be directly related to this what I am trying to prove but all I am saying is due to high pressure of work employee's health is at a huge stake. I could not find information or statistics related to marketing or sales field but above article can somehow help.

Now lets come to next step but important one also. Is there any solution to this mess or clearing this mess? I have one basic but effective one hopefully. If it is hopeful please pass this blogpost ahead so it can reach to top level managers in firms as much as possible. Now the basic solution for this is that firstly top level managers must train their employees to focus more on customer's preferences rather than filling their coffers by money. If employees are given proper and effective training on how to think about "Customers and satisfaction" in place of "Target Culture" I believe that the numbers will automatically rise if customers and employees are happy. This same thing was stated in Shimit Amin's "Rocket Singh Salesman of the Year" in 2009 in end when Ranbir kapoor explains this to his boss who tried his best to traumatise Ranbir for one mistake Ranbir's character had made. Ranbir's character affirmed that " He never knew about numbers all he knew how to keep customers and your employees happy and when both are happy targets are fullfilled on their own. Customer satisfaction is the main thing not numbers.

Secondly never ever burden employees with high pressure work UNNECESSARILY. Keep a positive environment in workplaces so that employees are willing to work more hard and contribute rather than killing themselves. Also little appreciation and motivation can help employees. There is a saying "Keep your employees happy and then your business will grow as your workers will automatically put in more efforts.

I have written this blog not for my satisfaction or defaming someone but i have tried to just prove that MNC's or any such companies should focus more on actual approach rather than the age old formula of Targets. Hope this blog reaches concerned authorities and if they have some heart they follow the solutions I listed above.

FIGHT AGAINST DIABETES

Before I start, this post is not for gaining any kind of sympathy or pity. In this Blog I am just sharing my experiences and what I have learnt in life after being diagnosed with Sugar problems. It is in fact a small summary of my journey going forward in an attempt to reverse my diabetes.

In the month of January of this year me and my family had gone to Kutch and Bhuj where I was feeling too much thirsty and using too much of washroom. My mother suspected that maybe its a sign of diabetes increase in blood. Adding to all this I was consuming lot of sweet stuff and my activities were also less. I used to feel lazy and lethargic. After our trip to Kutch and Bhuj when we came back to Mumbai after one and half week we checked my sugar levels were high to 346 which is high. After my breakfast we searched a diabetologist and luckily found in same area where do we stay at present. Since I had my breakfast and tea so after checking there the sugar level spiked up a lot to 450 as I had consumed bread. A big reason to worry for me and my mom and my family.

From this point I stepped on to a journey of taking care of my self and made some sacrifices in terms of totally avoiding any sort of fried items or sweets and included salads and soups in my food. I had never made such sacrifices earlier in life but yes after changing my lifestyle also I feel actually so good. My laziness and lethargy have been reduced and sugar levels are coming to control also. I earlier used to just go and have a stroll in the morning due to laziness but now I mostly go and have a good walk where I burn 4000 steps which is a new record for me in the morning walk.

Before anyone asks me was it difficult or Is it difficult to follow such a path of life?

It is initially little challenging but it is not impossible. My major Inspiration on changing or attempt to change my lifestyle was just keeping in mind few things mostly the major thing was that it is not that I have never eaten so many fried stuffs or sweets. I. I have eaten many things in life be it Mc donalds Burger, Dominoes Pizza, Belgian Waffles or be it anything. You name it I have eaten it so there is nothing left to try out. So I am satisfied and hence have nothing left to eat. Now I am totally ready to change my eating habbits and it is also not that I am not eating well. I eat Leafy vegetables, Vegetables Soups and Mushrooms or paneer which are quite satisfying. I have cut down on my Alcohol consumption as I heard that Alcohol is also dangerous for sugar. I do not intend to make people feel bad that alcohol is bad or if I can leave you also leave but all I am attempting to write is that leaving Alcohol worked for me.

All I want from my friends and family that on this journey to try to fight out my Diabetes I need everyone's prayers and support rather than Pittance. I have always got much support from my family and less support from my friends. I used to have some friends but now they have stopped supporting me and made me their enemy just because I do not drink much. I know it is bit difficult to trust me going on my earlier eating habits because as a youngster in school or college I never took Doctor's advises seriously and carelessly ate anything and used to drink lot of sugary things but now tata bye bye and sayonara to all those habits for long time as I will only eat sweet when my Doctor gives me a green signal which does not look to happen soon and it will take time. It is like a long break I am taking from junk food and sweets. I know one day I will maybe eat something sweet even though for one day.

I have shared all what I wanted to and I hope I have written good and hope everyone finds sense in this.

The Life Long Impact

A boy or say a man loves a girl and he chases her here and there, tries to woo her, runs after her and what not he does and the girl does not pay heed to the man's advances so he decides to avenge and how he does it. He procures a bottle of burning acid and decides to throw it on that particular girl.

He attacks her with acid and disappears but what happens? The man saves himself but he has caused a lot of damage to the girl. Her face destroyed and her life, her dreams, aspirations and everything damaged just by one throw of acid on her face.

This is just a small story of what happens mostly to the girls in our Nation. A Nation that advocates or rather boasts of advocating Women's safety and protection. Our Nation may have tackled with many issues but what about the growing menace of "Acid Attacks".

What is actually being done to end the menace? We read on facebook that there are many NGOS or organizations that are sheltering girls who are attacked with acid and many of us have read their heartbreaking stories which are true of course. It is quite nice that a lot is being done to give protection to the victims. We have the Chaanv organization and many such more. But My hope is that if there were no such attacks on girls or anyone there would not be need of such associations. Wished that men understand that or anyone who has a tendency to carry such attacks understand the fact that "We should live and let live". Such a thing never happened.

Each day we come through depressing and blood boiling stories in newspapers or social media about Acid Attacks being carried out and more shameful is it is happening in families also. Some patriarch does not want to give share in property or someone is jealous of other and hence they carry such attacks on girls who have Nothing to do in the matter.

These statistics and all are fine. What can be done to curb this menace and will there be any end to it?

The Answer is the only way to end this menace is ban the sale of acid from where these people procure them and if anyone is found using for attacks must be arrested and the supplier's license should be suspended or rather rusticated forever. We can say that educate the people about so called effects or losses but it will honestly not impact them as their egos are at superficial levels. The only way is to include more stern steps towards the people who are selling this stuff and those carry out the attack.

In end I would like to conclude that the menace of Acid Attacks will only possibly end when the people understand the long term effects of this henious attack and how it destroys someone's life. My wish is also that they understand the consequences on their own without any force.

Reputation At Stake

Just few hours back another gem of Bollywood Dharmendra Deol has left us and left a deep void to fill in. RIP to the He-Man of our Indian Cinema.

Facebook and many other social networking sites have become an inseparable part of our lives. Across the globe billions and billions of people use social networking sites be it either to remain connected with peers, family or who ever or are seen promoting their well established Businesses. Not only this but also share thoughts or opinions or whatever they like to do so.

Seeing all these major developments this is not wrong to say that all the networking sites are a boon for mankind. Honestly it all depends on how one uses these sites but not many realize one big thing or a major factor that the thoughts and opinions that are posted on media are viewed by many other users also and by others I mean just not to family or friends but everywhere across the globe. I am sure that not many have given thought to this aspect or may have realized late. The opinions people post and the language one uses while writing something also matter a lot.

My Blog Title "Reputation at stake" is because what I am going to explain through the case of a Cricket Incident which has been coming in light from "19th Nov,2025" but the seeds of it were sown way back in 2023. The date of 19th November 2023 is more of embarrassing for us Indians because India lost to Australia in the final of ODI World Cup and this loss gave us a Villain overnight and he is none other than Australian Player Travis Head who was exceptional on that night of the finals. In my opinion Travis Head was not and is also not a villain still because If our Players were playing for India so was Travis Head also was Playing for Australia His Nation and he had all the right to do so.

Reminding you all the 2023 ODI World Cup was held in India and finals was in Ahmedabad. All the Nations who were a part of World Cup were playing in India. Why was Travis Head labelled as a Villain for us and even if he was somehow WAS IT RIGHT to threaten his Wife and Daughter and that too with rape threat. This was something not expected from Indians at all.

This is the piece of evidence I got in a way to support my blog. It had come in news and it is humiliating in all ways. One has the right to express disappointment but showering abuses and rape threats is very bad and may have put our Nation on a bad global scale. These acts pull India's reputation down globally.

If I am to be comment on the source of this Information I collected all the information from various comments on facebook where there were similar and upsetting posts on cricket.

I am an Indian also and like crores of other Indians I felt bad for India loosing the finals but that never means one crosses limits and totally knocks off Humanity. Maybe the faction of so-called Indians may have Lost heavy and monetary bets on the game hence such reactions came up and this is how lot of Indians behave when they loose amounts of Money and go Crazy.

To put it in simple words Cricket or any sport teaches us sportsmanship spirit and when we play a certain game and whether we Win or Loose we should uphold the spirit of the sport and not commit childish acts and at least we should not disrespect others no matter what the result maybe. Small things or acts of whatever nature are viewed on social media by many people whom we may not know and one never knows what opinion is being formed on them so it is better to show Humble nature.

A Difficult Welcoming

First things first let us all pay our tributes to the four legends we lost in some days first Mr Pankaj Dheer then Mr Asrani followed by Advertising legend Mr Piyush Pandey and lastly Mr Satish Shah.

Children be it a girl or a boy are all incarnations of God and there is no difference when it comes to children. Those cute smiles, Innocent questions asked and also all those mischiefs which sometimes drive elders crazy. But what happens when a child who is newborn and later times detected with some problems be it any problem. It Can be a physical issue or developmental disability.

Just imagine what parents or family members go through when their own child is suffering from something or other. Worse is how other people see them and what is their perception about such children whom many child psychologists term as "Special Children". The perception towards these "Special Children" is not a good one. Mostly the parents who have children who are raised nicely and are considered smart, feel threatened from "Special Children". They poison their so called smart children to illtreat them and isolate them and these children also provoke rest of the classmates to do the same.

"Children with special needs" have one big wish and that is that society accepts them as they are. Nobody is telling other people to do too much for them but a little bit of care and attention and some love from others do. Very few people consider this and accept such children and for mostly these children are just burden for them. These normal children find it very taxing to help such unfortunate children. Sometimes siblings in their own family also consider them as a burden whereas they are the ones who should be giving more support to them.

This does not end here also even society or in social circle or any places "Special Children" face problems. I recollected an article in which there was an incident that a manager of Oberoi mall in Mumbai Goregaon Suburbs, refused to let an autistic child to enter playzone which is actually disgusting and inhuman.

Now let us come to know the main inspiration behind this blog and what made me compose this one. I do not know how many people used to see Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma and specially the epsiode series where the young man named Vicky clicked a photo of champaklal and made a poster of him saying he is mentally ill. This later creates more uproar and lot of unfortunate events take place but in the end of the whole commotion the character of Vicky realizes his error and asks for forgiveness and in end Champaklal explains him that "If we are fortunate enough to be well developed mentally and if someone is not that fortunate we should not make fun of them instead we should raise their morale as even they are part of our society" and I found this quite correct and when I tried to share this on a group on facebook I was made fun off too and the opinions were quite shameful.

To Conclude all I wish to write and explain is that these children with "Special Needs" are also a part of our society and also deserve equal love and affection and also we should help them to do well in life rather than consider them as a threat or a burden. There are many things they can also do in life if they are given proper support and care and schools can play a good role in this. All that is needed is some co-operation towards them and some compassion.

BALANCING OPTIONS

Quite sometime back Supreme court made the decision to free stray dogs after sterilizing and vaccinating them to curb the rabies problem. This caused a much uproar regarding safety of people but only animal lovers from everywhere were happy.

Now a dog whether a stray one or a pet can also cause much more problems than any other animal. Before this supreme court's order there have been many disturbing incidents where even pet dogs were on attacking mode and this news came from other parts of India. On facebook I read an article that how a pet dog mauled a small child and it was very horrific to describe the incident.

This is the article which I found on google. In the article it was mentioned that a man unleashed the dog on a small child and while the dog which was a pitbull attacked the boy very badly and owner of dog was laughing. Is this not disturbing for anyone?? Now someone will say maybe the child might have made a mistake.

Whether the animal is a stray or pet it is not important more than that it is important to train the animals on what do or not to do.

This was about pet dogs now lets come to stray dogs. Stray dogs are more dangerous than the pet ones as they are roaming in open and there is no protection for them in anyways. In this NGOs can make sure to take care of them and protect them. While we agree that it is important to take care of people too but its as much important to protect the defenseless stray animals from menacing people who provoke the stray animals into doing something bad.

There will be a question regarding how to take care of stray dogs or what can be done for them??

We need to find BALANCING OPTIONS for both humans and dogs(Stray or pet)

OPTION 1- For Strays there should be a separate area designated to them and only those who are taking care of them to come and feed them and this should be done in a separate place. Basically a house dedicated to stray dogs and their caretakers should be allowed. In this way the possibility of harming anyone can be minimal.

OPTION 2-If the above is not possible anyhow. Dogs have a special power to sniff and detect something and by this the stray dogs who are in threat can join Police Dog squad and can be helpful there. How many of us have heard about Zanjeer the Golden Labrador who played a crucial role in 1993 post the bomb blasts in finding out so many explosives. Like this in the same way the dogs will not be attacked and can be taken care off.

I could honestly think about these two options if anyone has more ideas feel free to write to me.

In the end I would just like to write down that if it is more important to save animals so it is also important to save humans. Overall we need to balance between the two different species of living beings. Who is more necessary ? the debate will always continue but more important it is to show respect to both Man or animal.

MINDSET NEEDS CHANGE

Before I start my Blog after a long time let me offer my condolences to the Martyrs in Pahalgam attack, Victims in Bengaluru stampede and the people who died in unfortunate crash of Air India from Ahmedabad to London.2025 has been a disappointing year.

Long back in tumblr I had mentioned about three departments of cricket which are Batting, Bowling and Fielding and I also tried to explain their importance but I think it has not reached to anyone really. Hence I am back to explain about the most important yet most underprivileged part of the game cricket that is FIELDING.

I am not going to explain about fielding in the game but what I am trying to bring attention of everyone to the very fact that fielding is considered least important in the game of cricket specially in India. Be it any format or any tournament- at many times whenever I have seen the recent games of India against any team our Batting and Bowling strengths have been going good but the most crucial area where we are actually poor has been the fielding part. Let us not go so far let us view the previous match of ongoing series against England only. In the previous game we had put on a fighting total against england and everyone thought we will win it easily but we failed to win it because of our sloppy fielding and in the end the match went to england which could have been our match.

Not only this match lets go to the heartbreaking ODI World Cup 2023 finals India Vs Australia there also we lost because of poor fielding.

Whenever I see such matches in which India has performed poorly and specially due to our poor fielding, I have made two observations:

A) Mindset regarding fielding

Just remember when we were small and graduated only to the level of playing street cricket our main focus has been on batting and little bit of good bowling and fielding was a mere formality. We only gave 90% to batting and remaining 10% to bowling while fielding got zero respect. This has mostly happened in India. So in totality our Indian Mindset is a problem when it comes to fielding in cricket. Much of the population in India never considered fielding as important.

B) No Motivational Awards

Be it any tournament in any format of the game there have been awards for highest run scorers or somehow a good spell of bowling, but no one ever considered awarding great fielding in the game. A player earns some award by his batting or say bowling but there is no proper award for fielding hence there is no motivation to do good fielding and hence we never do good fielding because of lack of motivation to do good.

These are two of my personal observations regarding the problem.

Finally all I wish to conclude is that if we are giving over importance to Batting and bowling and continue to have the same laidback attitude towards fielding it is we who are going to suffer more heartbreaking defeats and always loose in crucial matches. Its the Mindset that needs the change not the game. Finally I hope if this blog by accident reaches authorities hope they can give the due to importance to the fielding part of cricket and motivate fielders to do well in the game of cricket.

Lacking Empathy

Hello Readers sorry for being away from blogging since a long time as I was busy in somethings and some commitments hence could not do much.

The Border-Gavaskar trophy ended and again our Indian team bit the dust against Australia. This also drew the curtains on Indian Cricket Team for their chances to qualify in finals of World Test Championship.

This loss has raised a lot of issues be it some player's performances to some fitness issues also.Many of our players are now are being hammered by the fans all over the globe. Meme business as increased and no player is being spared. All are being targeted.

I personally have not seen all the matches and used to follow on cricbuzz and some other sources like whatsapp group where my friends were updating with scores and all developments. But in my free time when I scrolled on Facebook and was opened to see so many comments on different posts and the sort of comments that I was reading were just very disturbing and somehow disgusting.

The first thing that came in my mind that "Are We as Indians lacking empathy?" The Answer to this If I am to give i would surely say Yes, We Lack empathy specially regarding India's matches or performances. Be it any loss 1996- Exit from finals to 2007 ODI WC early stage exit by India or even talk about the current BGT trophy. We only support our team when results are in our favor and one bad day we tend to write our Indian Team off forever. We also cross our limits trolling them and writing something bad about them and sometime burning effigies(which has not happened now).

I have noticed that when other teams be it any team when they loose to anyone else are still welcomed warmly by their country. No cries,trolls, No stoning houses or burning effigies but have never seen our Nation behaving well when our team looses. Disappointment is but natural and I do not blame anyone but think of this "How Our team must be feeling when they loose and worse after loosing what they have to face in their own Nation"? Not only this some tend to become masters of the game and start giving out advises like this particular person is not fit, other one is not good in this format or its captain's mistake.Suddenly our mind becomes active.

All i have said previously through in my earlier Facebook posts or say in some other blogs that if you celebrate our team's success please be a little considerate and support our team in bad phases too. But I know that its going to fall on deaf ears but still i hope one day we as Indians can make a Difference when it comes to being supportive to our Indian team Not Only in cricket but any sport or event. No matter what A game is a game and one wins other looses so no point in making a big fuss about it and a bitter truth will also be that "Nobody likes to end up on loosing side".

A Legendary Show

Before I compose my article,let us pray for Sir Ratan Tata who left us two days back and has left a big vacuum to be filled. A great Social Philanthropist as he was and will always be a Hero for our Country.

I have personally seen some reality shows but Kaun banega Crorepati abbreviated as KBC has always been my most favourite show. It was inspired by a UK show "Who wants to be a Millionaire?". The show was started in the year 2000 and at present has completed 16 seasons and is still viewed with the same charm. Such is a beauty of this show.

KBC had gone through lot of changes in almost many things or say many ways be it changes in format or be it changes in life lines also or be it their change in some rules or regulations but never did the show lost its beauty or its magic. Even today it is being viewed with same grace and enthusiasm.

Let us analyze further that what makes KBC the most valued show:

The Amazing Host

If we talk about KBC and not mention the show's legendary Host Shri Amitabh Bachchan sir, it would totally be unfair. From the very start till now Amitji has been the most succesful host of the show. infact I recollect that when Amitji had left the show for a year and Shahrukh Khan had taken the lead in place of Amitji the show had some dip in popularity and TRP ratings of the show had dropped somehow.It was quite evident that no other person can host this show better than Amitji. Well praises for Amitji is a long list and unending.

Format

Inspite of having gone some modifications of any sort, the format of the show was still simple and entertaining. The game starts with a fastest finger first and the winner who gets the answer in least time taken is selected for the game and has to face the host on a Hot Seat and answer questions based on General Knowledge. It is quite simple and nice. If you have knowledge you can win big prizes. Basically its all about knowledge and has nothing to do with anything else.

Everything is Knowledge

From watching this show KBC, even after so many years I noted that anything can be counted as Knowledge. Be it a TV Show or even a smallest thing like a dish and what ingredient goes in making the dish is a question which is added in the show. Nowadays many things that are new or unique are taken into consideration.

Something for Viewers

Earlier when this show was considerably new we would take pride sitting in front of TVS and guess the right answers showed on screen sometimes even before the chosen contestant It was an achievement. Lately or recently KBC had taken an initiative that those who are watching KBC show can Play Along and win prizes or can also make it to the hot seat and play in front of so many people.If the answer was right we would win and if it was wrong we would gain knowledge. In the current season and last year's season there was something for Audience also I mean the ones who are sitting in the game show. Partnering with Hyundai KBC launched "Desh ka Sawaal" which meant that any person from any part of India can ask a question to audience and they can win prizes after giving the right answer.

New Challenges

Previous point dealt with Viewers or say audience now this point deals with the playing contestant. In recent epsidoes there are challenges for playing contestants are also there. This year saw a remarkable change in pattern with the introduction of Super sawaal which means after the hurdle of 5th question for 10,000 Rupees the contestant has to play this super sawaal in which there is a question but no options are given only for that one question. if the answer is right contestants playing are granted with "Dugnastraa" which means from 6th question till 10th question which is second hurdle of amount 3,20,000 they can activate the dugnastraa and win a bonus if answer is right. Along with that if the contestant wins 3,20,000 in 10th question they are faced with "Super Sandook" which means 10 questions will come in 90 seconds and contestants have to answer them fast and if the win 50,000 or above they have an option to deposit money in their account or activate a life line which if they have used.

I guess these are some major reasons for which Kaun Banega Crorepati is going so famous. I hope that such reality shows continue to happen and it will increase our general knowledge and i also hope that in future it is hosted by none other than our Dearest superstar "Amitabh bachchanji"

UNDER ESTIMATED CINEMA

When we hear or think about Gujarat the first thing comes about is their food or say love for Garba dance and many such little things.But Gujarat is just not limited to all this one must explore their Magical Cinema.

Gujarati cinema started in 1932 and their first movie was Narsinh Mehta. Then many more movies came to be released. When Gujarati cinema started there were hardly say around 12 movies that were released . These all movies in the 1940s only focused on Dacoit stories or Mythology folktales.But Later they started declining and decline further increased in year 2000.There were not many Gujarati films that were released.

This was the history in a brief today at present Gujarati films have also changed in matters of story telling,direction,acting and many more parameters.

Now as my title says "Underestimated cinema" it is because when you search on google about a bollywood movie (Be it any), You have a full wikipedia page for the movie of your choice and it contains the full information be it story,cast,production,marketing and everything but when you search for a Gujarati film many of the results show Cast of the film,where have the movies been released and nothing much. There is no wikipedia page dedicated to any Gujarati film.

This is quite unfair as Gujarati movies have many hit movies and their stories are quite entertaining at least little better than the Non sense Bollywood movies show us.

When I saw these films my personal experience was quite good and I was somehow amazed that Gujarati Cinema has its own charm and beauty. The way they are directed keeping in mind what to show to audience. if it is romance,action or comedy it is clean.

Now a final Myth is that whether Dialogues in the film are understandable or no??

At times Subtitles can help in understanding but main thing is focus needed. If you carefully see the film there are some chances to understand what is happening in the film.I personally think a lot of times after watching a Gujarati movie that Are dialogues actually an hindrance in enjoying a regional cinema?? I really do not feel so because if you try to pay attention you can get 90% of the movie as to what is it about.

Hence I personally feel that Regional Cinema(be it any) should also be given equal amount of attention that we give to Bollywood and these cinema can be watched without any disturbances or any hindrances. HORRIBLE FUTURE AWAITS

In my blogging times this has happened for second time that I was planning for another topic but immediately had to write for something else.Anyways everyone is aware about the Kolkata Rape and Murder case of the Dr Moumita Debnath.

A little bit history of the RG Kar Medical College case, Moumita Debnath was raped and murdered on August 9,2024. This incident has caused a huge uproar everywhere and in whole India there are protests to hang and kill the Rapists. Yes the rapists should be killed and along with them even those people should be killed who are trying to rush up and hide facts.

Worse thing that is happening that media is branding this case similar to Nirbhaya in 2012(Delhi). Media should remember that this is not some film story, its a real rape and murder that too of a gruesome nature. They should so some sensitivity towards the family.

The horror of this incident did not end here. In 24 hours many more such rapes took place around the country. Even after so much debates,protests,aggression of common people and everything, did those people realize the impact? I guess no. Long back I had written on this topic also and the blog was named "Bad Example". I had mentioned in that article that the delay in justice only adds to courage of the criminals. If it had to change, this Kolkata case would never have happened.

Now speaking of Impact of this crime, be it any Rape case be it Moumitra or Nirbhaya or any case that has happened so far in our country is shaping a Horrible future for whole of India.

Many people are demanding strict laws against such crimes. But can anyone Imagine the effect it can have?? Even if lawmakers introduce some strict laws, will it be used wisely or some people will misuse laws for women? One has to think from all the sides that how a law will work. We have to safeguard the innocent people also from such laws being misused. Also due to some people's cruel act whole of males will suffer for no reason. There is a popular saying :Whether a culprit escapes the punishment of Law but an innocent should never suffer". All this what I am trying to point out is the horrible future our country can await if any sort of crime against women will not stop.

Several times people have been taught what should one do when you see any such thing happening near you. Also we have had enough lessons on how should one respect women and be sensitive towards them in all times. So I do not think I should repeat the same thing again and again. Regarding laws this is all up to the law makers as to what sort of Laws they will bring out and what sort of amendments will take place but hope whatever Laws they bring it should benefit all and no one should misuse the laws otherwise we are in for deep trouble in near future.

SHAMEFUL REDEVELOPMENT

Anyone as a student who studied Indian History must have studied about Jallianwala Bagh. The Massacre of Jallianwala Bagh is the darkest chapter in the Indian History and till today it sends shivers down the spine of anyone.

Those who may have not even heard about this tragic massacre or in case do not even know about Jallianwala Bagh here is a little History. It all started with the passing of Rowlatt Act on March 18,1919 which gave the British to arrest anyone without any reason and also to control National Upsurge. The Rowlatt Act came into effect in late March 1919. Many protests took place and also two famous leaders Dr Satyapal and Dr Kichlu were arrested for opposing. On 13th April 1919 a large group of common people assembled at Jallianwala Bagh to oppose this arrest of the leaders. It was Baisakhi festival also. The British got the wind of the information and surrounded the place and under orders of General Dyer the British opened fire on the crowd and killed so many people mercilessly hence this became the darkest chapter.

To the Present, As a child when I had visited Jallianwala Bagh and followed all inscriptions on the wall i could imagine the whole scene right in front of my eyes. Each and every nook and corner could yell out the pain and tragedy that happened so many years ago. Who can also forget the Martyr's Well? I forgot to mention that earlier that the people who were trying to save themselves jumped in the well and died of suffocation. To this day if you see that well you can imagine the horror.

When I last visited Amritsar in 2020 came to know that Jallianwala Bagh had been closed for Redevelopment. I hoped that it would be better but quite some years later when I saw on facebook the redevelopment even not fully, I came to know that they have made it very high tech and modern version and to be very honest this Redevelopment was not the expectation I Had. I came to know that entrance was remade with the martyrs shown standing and then inside everything has been made high tech for children so that they can understand the whole incident. There has been a light and sound show to explain the whole massacre. Light and sound show is still ok but changing the whole park and making it high tech specially for children is very shameful.

Let us remind ourselves the Jallianwala bagh is not some playful Park that was shamelessly remodeled for children to enjoy but It is a place to commemorate a tragedy that still haunts Indians till date. it would have actually been better if they would not have made such changes and spoil the monument which has a historic Importance or even they should have made minor changes so as not to hurt sentiments.

In the end I would like to state that Jallianwala Bagh stands as an important landmark in Indian History and each and every corner of that monument is filled with lives given in the process of fighting against British Government and blood of all those who died. Government should realise that such Monuments should be kept like they are in order to understand importance behind them.

BEGGING BUSINESS

Before I start this post, I express my gratitude and heartfelt and a BIG THANK YOU to my dearest friend and brother Tarun Rohra for sharing some vital information on the topic. I also Would like to express my thanks to Google for some important data.

Imagine yourself going somewhere and suddenly you approach a beggar and specially a deformed one. Maybe they do not have eyes or a body part is not in functional order. You see that beggar and feel sorry and give some money to the poor beggar and they go away. You might think that you did a great deed by giving some money. Here is the time that you are wrong and there is more than what meets the eye. Your amount of money does not really reach the beggar. In fact it goes to their leader who makes them beg. Sad but true. This begging problem specially in India has taken a shape of professional business.

There is a large syndicate that is operating in quite some parts of India. The ring leader kidnaps children and many times makes them handicapped in many ways and send them to beg and earn. Later when the children go to beg and whatever money they get goes to the ring leader and children get nothing. So the money you think has gone in the hands of a poor beggar has actually been wasted. This was also shown in Danny Boyle's award winning film The Slumdog Millionaire" starring Dev Patel, Irrfan Khan and many more.

At many times Begging is not just limited to money. Many times beggars ask for medicines also. For that they prepare bogus prescriptions and fake patient's name also. This something new I came to know that even for medicines beggars do all this and God knows that the might be doing with the Medicines. Does it reach the required patient?? I really have no clue about this.

Then there is one more scam in the begging business.If the beggars get something to eat like biscuits. After they get biscuits specially the brand new packed ones they give it to shop owners in exchange of money and then with that money they probably buy cheap drugs. Again money wasted indirectly. Above Medicine scam and this biscuit scam information was given to me by my friend Tarun as he has gone through this.

Since in the start I raised the problems that how this business is going or proceeding. Now anyone who reads this might think that what is the solution to this. i can give an Idea on personal level as to how we can do our part that might just help. The first and the most important step to curb this Begging menace is do not give them a single penny from your side as the reason now is known to many. If any of them cry that they have not eaten for some days buy them some eatables and make them eat in front of your eyes so that you are assured that your money again is not gone in cheap drugs. In Anyway do not give them any amount of money.

In the above survey there were quite few mentions that how NGOS,Government and many bodies are coming ahead with schemes and plans to tackle the Begging problem. Many plans are being formulated for rehabilitation of children involved in begging. The governing authorities will do their work in rehabilitating the beggars but will this Menace of Begging ever get curbed or rather be done with. Will the people involved in this Begging Business ever understand that now their time to stop has come? It is a difficult situation. Even with all facilities or plans we make for them to do better, will they change in future and stop getting involved in this Begging Business.Only time will give the answer.

A Wrong Association

I was waiting for Valentines day to get over so that I could write this blog. But yes it took me quite long due to other commitments. Anyways here it is.

Valentines day is celebrated every year in february and this celebration takes place at many places or say nations. I had read about the history little bit but at present do not remember much but all I know it is celebration of love and happiness and in our country India and specially in Mumbai the craze for the Valentines day is over to a new level. One week before only the sensation and celebration begins say from 7th to 14th february. Restaurants, shopping malls and all florists earn big bucks by providing special packages and discounts on big brands are given.

That was about the way how valentines day is celebrated. Now as per the heading says "A Wrong Association" I wish to share what is wrong about the Valentines day. Whenever this day comes near a flood of memes and trolls and many cheap jokes are circulated on all types of social media. All the memes and trolls which are posted are forcefully associating Valentines Day with Sexual pleasures and I mean Sexual pleasures. This opens up a psychological aspect that Valentines Day is only and only about having sex between boy and girl. Sorry for being straight forward but this is how valentines day is portrayed on media. Let me share some things that I saw on social media. One page or account shows that youngsters are stating that on 14th feb children are making excuse of extra classes but whereas they are going to OYO hotels to celebrate Valentines Day(Although Sex was not mentioned but hint was there). One more post that floated a lot was in Hindi. It read like " Agar 14th tak koi Ladki nahi Mili to iska Matlab Valentines Day humare sanskriti mein Nahi Hai" translate in English " If till 14th I do not find a girl then it means Valentines Day is not in our culture". I mean it is quite silly to post such things. It speaks a lot about cheap mentality of the people be it youth or any matured adults.

So, to all those people and I mean people all I wish to say that Love is not only associated with sexual pleasures. There is no need to associate Love with sex. You can spread love in many other ways. Go to orphanages where small children need love or go to old age homes spread love there with old age couples whose own children may have sent them there to die. This idea specially should be given to those people who think that Valentines Day is to be celebrated between couples whether married or unmarried. Love sees no boundaries and love is eternal and never ending and most important if you love someone do it with a clear intention and specially without any expectation. If your love is true then you may get back but if it comes with conditions or some agreements so do not love anyone.

Finally all that I have tried to convey through this blogpost that the Association of Valentines Day specially with sex is a wrong idea and also I wish to say that I am not against Valentines Day in fact I also Celebrate Valentines Day but I do not do it with expectations. Spread love everywhere and keep people happy and celebrate love to the fullest.
