Okay random thoughts because that just struck me as odd after watching the Chloe/Brett scenes…
“Ward should remember.” “He does.”
Like maybe it’s just that Hive didn’t think about it, but if he has access to all of Ward’s memories Hive should have made the connection sooner (idk how this Hive & host memories stuff works since I haven’t watched the episode so no idea if it makes sense) and there was something about the facial expression in that moment that just makes me wonder if there’s more to it.
It makes me wonder if Ward somehow withheld this information on purpose (granted under the assumption it’s not just his body but also his conciousness working) because he knew what Hive would do. And also wonder if this will make Ward fight against Hive and maybe break out of its hold or something to protect Skye/Daisy…
Probably not because the show likes to disappoint me but it’s a nice headcanon to use for AUs.
