Hello Inglourious Basterds fans!!
I'm aldo's devils brigade badge, a blog that i created so that i can ramble about the plot and the characters! i might also be posting headcanons (if i feel confident enough to lol).
As you might notice, my blog's name is based off of the devil's brigade patch that aldo raine's has on his shoulder. this could allude to aldo's past military experience with the 1st special service corps, and that he was possibly deployed in italy prior to leading the inglourious basterds regiment.
The devil's brigade is a really fascinating ww2 commando unit that consisted of both canadian and american soldiers - they would participate in psychological warfare against the enemy by using cards with unit's insigna and a phrase that read "Das dicke Ende kommt noch!" (The worst is yet to come!) and leave them on the dead bodies of German soldiers.
anyways im really happy to find a community of people who are crazy about the movie as much as I am!!
