GO hot take apparently
Imagine finding out you have 90 minutes to tie up a love story that's developed over thousands of years. You create something beautifully in character and completely on point for the plot. You pay homage to the original writer's legacy in a fitting and poetic way and create an ending that not only shows the depth of two people's love for each other but the wider love they have for the thing that brought them together in the first place.
And then you go online to find the loudest outcry is that everyone hates it and "THEY DIDN'T EVEN KISS!"
I feel sorry for people who didn't get anything out of that stunning finale.
I'm very sad that people didn't like the ending. I really did. I think we're losing track of that fact that it wasn't JUST about their relationship to each other. It was also about their roles to humanity. It was about them wanting humans to be happy and working against two all powerful forces and all they've ever known.
They die because they love humans so much. They're like Jesus tbh.
They find each other again in this new universe because they are soulmates and they will find each other in every time and every universe over and over again.
I am also sad that people are so upset that they met at older adults. As if older adults cannot find true love and love is only worth anything if you meet in your 20s. They're more than just their relationship. Crowley got to be a professor! Asa still gets to work with books. He also gets the permission to peruse Crowley, something he never got as an angel.
This was never a romance show. It was a show about the complexities of heaven, hell, religion and morality. The love they have for each other is obvious and consistent but not the main point. It never was.
Idk yall. I liked it a lot. It is fair to be disappointed because they didn’t have a big love profession or kiss on screen but I just want people to remember that the story really was about them giving humanity a second chance.
Where do you guys watch 911 in streaming?
ads targeted to women: omg you are thirtyyyy. kill yourself
it must be fucking awesome to be a balloon floating away from a crying child like fuck yessssssss get out of there
anyone else wish they would get roped into a freaky friday body swap situation just for the hope that the other person will go "oh jesus fuck how do you live like this" and instantly validate your feelings of being Strange and Built Wrong.

Merlin 2.13 - The Last Dragonlord
Lmao.
Arthur: No man is worth your tears
Merlin: that's such shitty advise -
Arthur: I meant yours, specifically. I tell my knights they aren't worth your tears, Merlin. Don't ever cry over anyone. You're the light of Camelot, no one holds a candle to you. They don't deserve you, ever, so don't cry your beautiful tears over our pathetic undeserving asses, do you hear me-
Anyone for an Aziraphale and Crowley handfasting?
I love drawing the difference between Aziraphale's chunky pale fingers and Crowley's slender hands.
