To the Off fan community in Japan

I'm still in disbelief about what happened in Shibuya and meeting so many of you. It felt like a dream. It was an incredible moment; I didn't expect so many of you to be there, or to be so invested in my game's universe. Thank you so much for that, but also for your kindness, and for your involvement. I'm also truly sorry to everyone who couldn't get a ticket. I hope to return to Japan someday and offer you another gathering, perhaps on a larger scale.

Thank you also so much for all your letters, illustrations, and handmade goodies. I took the time to read everything carefully, and I was very moved and happy to receive all these messages. I will treasure them forever.

The Paulo in the tub was made by my friend.

Bugs, bones, and flowers were ethically sourced— EXCEPT for the bat.

He is a common pipistrelle species, no concern on the list of species facing extinction. Regardless, the harvesting of bats for taxidermy en mass is NEVER ethical. He (and 3 others) were secondhand acquired by myself from someone who wasn’t aware of the practices to obtain bats for mass sale. I’m using them as educational tools in my artwork.

Masks!

The Michael clown and Art clown masks are painted over from spirit Halloween branded plastic masks.

Legion and both Zacharies are sculpted over plastic bases using foam clay.

Krampus’ base is from a Monster Kidz subscription box. The paint, ice FX and fur were added by me!

Commissioned piece based on the Survive or Die scarezone at Halloween Horror Nights Orlando 26 (2016)

This commission took the longest of any digital commission I’ve done to date! Just shy of 24 hours tracked on the iPad. This also doubles as a memorial piece for a scareactor friend who’d passed away.
