Small detail Louis headcanons:

- Whenever Louis is upset, he puffs out his lower lip and creases his brows. It reminds Clementine of a small child and it is both cute and sad. Depending on the situation.
- When he’s nervous he likes to fumble with his coat. Or scratch at the back of his neck. He also likes to make jokes to lighten the mood—Despite the circumstance he may be in. He’d rather have a good time, even for a moment.
- He gets flustered whenever Clementine compliments him/Shows affection and she knows just the right words/actions to make his freckled cheeks ablaze in heat.
- He has freckles at his shoulders, forearms and back. Clementine was surprised to see this while stitching him up after a nasty battle—She was also pleasantly surprised at the dimples placed at the base of his spine, on either side. They’d crease with every move.
- If mentioned, Louis will most definitely boast about his dreads and how well they’ve kept up after all these years.
- He likes to imagine a life after the apocalypse, with Clementine and AJ. And often fantasizes about it before drifting to sleep. He makes up some interesting scenarios.
- Louis knows Clementine secretly likes it when he showers her in kisses. (At the wrong times, whenever she’s seemingly busy). But he can hear the loving sighs she makes under the cool attitude.
- He doesn’t like talking about his missing tooth. But if brought up, he’d gladly tell you. Each story is made up, though. But you wouldn’t know that. No one truly knows just how he lost that tooth.
- Louis loves to keep Clementine entertained with his piano, when she finds she hasn’t anything to do. He asks her to help him write a song. So far, she isn’t as good as he’d imagined. Which boosts his ego a bit.
- AJ prefers Louis to tell him bedtime stories now, Clementine was at first a little hurt—But after hearing Louis’s retelling of ‘a thousand nights’. She can’t be mad.
- Louis is surprisingly the better kisser. Which was pleasant to figure out—And also a bit annoying, because with almost every kiss he’d give a solemn wink, chuckling at her awestruck gaze.
- Louis is not a morning person. AJ had never heard him so grumpy until Marlon dragged him out of bed one morning. Not even coffee would cool his mood.
- Despite her protest, Louis just loves calling Clementine by a pet name—A new one everyday. But one night she called him a “Loser”, as a joke on his name. So now he makes sure to refer to her in pet names as much as he can before she shoots a glare in warning.
- He won’t sleep soundly unless Clementine is beside him, and AJ on the end. (Mostly because AJ likes to kick in his sleep). And Louis likes to wake the girl up with kisses, seeing her nose crinkle in her waken daze, turn into a giddy smile warms his heart every time.
- Louis also likes to flirt with Clementine, making it more intense ever since they’d become official. And he loves the blush that creeps over the tops of her cheeks whenever he catches her in the halls of the school alone. She flusters at every comment. Even if she acts tough about it.
