Sneak Preview

Prologue

Two shadows appear center stage as the curtain opens on an urban apartment building roof. There is a water tank, again in shadow, on stage left. The two shadows walk over to the water tank in complete silence, climb up to the top, and lift what appears to be a human body out of the water tank. They then cross to upstage center, where it is implied one edge of the roof is located, and proceed to throw the body off the “roof.” The two shadows then exit stage right as a city soundscape begins to play. It is imperative that all the shadows appear unisex.
