literally stop using words like "bigot" "pedophile" and "abuser" when you actually mean "person i don't like" i'm serious. not only are you making it easier for actual legitimate accusations to be dismissed as "petty online drama", but wanting someone to have hurt and threatened people in order to justify your hatred of them is insanely selfish and cruel. grow up.
Samoseli Pirveli (meaning “first garment”) is a shop that specializes in traditional Georgian clothes, which differ according to the “strata and regions of Georgia” (source). One style of garment is called a “chokha” and another, “kalakuri kaba” (meaning “city dress”). Each image has a line of English categorizing the clothing style.

i have a weird appreciation for Baroque artists, in particular Francois Boucher and Peter Paul Rubens, for depicting the human body in lush detail at a time that predates the standards for bodies to be thin and airbrushed with no wrinkles or cellulite
it’s just really interesting to me
so many the things women are taught to hate about their bodies—pudgy bellies, fat rolls, double chins, and cellulite—used to be ideals of beauty shown in depictions of goddesses
i think a thing that would not instantly kill a medieval peasant but rather possibly scar them emotionally for the rest of their life would be to feed them a modern fruit. many plants probably did not taste anywhere near as good in the ye olden days before intense amounts of selective breeding. though i suppose this also applies to almost any modern food but i would like to single out fruit specifically.
anyway i know if a time traveler came to me and gave me a watermelon exponentially more tasty than anything i’ve ever tasted, only to vanish and leave me with nothing but the memory of a heavenly taste that i know will never even exist for many, many lifetimes beyond my own, i think i would have to lie down and cry for a bit
I'm so sad! Oedo Onsen in Tokyo is closing this weekend!!! I really wanted to go but now I'm never gonna get toooooo
Like I wanted to wear yukatas and try the footbaths with my friends :ccc
I don’t want a job I want a cottage in the woods and paint, read and eat berries
Artists who know how to draw armors or very detailed clothing are powerful
oh to draw embroidery like Alexander Roslin does
See it’s stuff like this that makes me believe that selling your soul to the devil in exchange for talent was a real career track in the 1700s.
