My boyfriend is 27 years old. He was with his mother last week and she made a comment about how his clothes were fitting too tight, hinting/giggling about the fact that he’d gained weight.

Ya wanna know what happened as a result of that seemingly harmless comment?

He didn’t eat for two days.

Just because we aren’t kids anymore doesn’t mean we are any less impressionable in regards to the comments our parents make.
