You may be surprised that Camille Leblanc-Bazinet, awarded Fittest Women on Earth at the 2014 Crossfit Games, once struggled with body image. “I used to run because I wanted to be skinny, and then I’d eat like crap,” the former gymnast explained about her pre-CrossFit days. “I would always feel miserable about myself, like ‘You’re not pretty enough.’ It was self-destructive.”
It’s beautiful to read what changed Camille’s mind about her own body, and what made her want to get into Crossfit.

What this SHOULD mean:
I’m capable of being honest with people while using some level of tact to do so. I am not going to make it seem like everything is going the way it’s supposed to, however, I’m going to bring this issue to your attention while still talking to you like a human being.
How people who say this actually tend to act:
I am going to say something in the most rude, disrespectful manner possible yet still demand respect because this is really just me being honest. If you want someone to not talk down to you, that’s your problem. I can talk to people however I want, because I’m being honest. I constantly refer to myself as an asshole like it’s a badge of honor because I equate being respectful with being weak.
