Last week when Joe was outed for grooming once again I saw someone in the (now archived) Joe Hawley channel in HITS say something along the lines of "Well at least SPG isn't problematic" and "They got rid of the bad member." And I'm like...do they not know? Because it's actually way more complicated than that. Steam Powered Giraffe actually knew for years that both Michael Reed and Steve Negrete were creeps. Michael had previously been let go by the band for kissing an underage fan, and in Bunny's own words on twitter back in July of 2020 was brought back because he was just a "damn good musician." They're all also just incredibly fucking rude in general. Bunny was borderline abusive to people she was close with and so on and so forth. They're NOT exactly who you should be idolizing either.
