ROOKIE OF THE YEAR !!!!! PLEASE HE DESERVES IT SO MUCH
ALARM I LOVE U
Seeing people on twitter making fun of hex is pretty off putting since his behavior is very concerning. The dude has been a professional caster for years.. he knows the consequences. Who has a backup job in their pocket in the middle of this pandemic? Like.. he’s unwell for this to have happened. “Oh he’s drunk” ...if he is, then why would he, again, a professional caster, drink before games?
I hope he gets the help he needs
Sorry if this bothers you but what’s your thoughts about Kephrii nowadays, especially the general idea that he’s “powerful” enough to ban accounts by just asking a Blizzard employee (? I think so) to do it? I have a T500 DPS friend who streams sometimes (he’s not a pro or anything) and he got called a cheater once or twice by him despite obviously not cheating. It was some months ago but I’m afraid he would report him if they play together one day. Sorry for my bad English!
I would put this under a read more if I wasn’t on mobile - sorry for anyone who doesn’t have “long post” tagged even though by my usual responses this isn’t too bad I guess
But anyways anon, your English is great, you have absolutely nothing to apologize for!
My summary on kephrii is that I hate his ass. Both for this brief part and the shit I’ll say about his hackusations. Cheating on his wife, sexting his mods (they weren’t minors but they were young enough for me to be like... ew...), turning the “cheating on your wife” to be a “haha funny in-joke” amongst viewers? I know that’s a thing for a few Major Streamers but idgaf, I don’t like it from anyone.
The issue with kephrii in terms of the game is he’s insecure. When someone is better than him, he can’t handle it. Unless he’s being outplayed to a degree he can’t deny (like known pros..), he calls them hackers. He’s the worst hackusator in the entire community tbh. I mean he made some intense hackusations against like, a thirteen or fourteen year old before, but then when he found out the kid was “legit” after throwing him to the wolves of harassment from his fans turned it into some heartwarming “kephrii plays with kid so good he thought he was cheating” for a stream/video situation. His shitty hackusations are why we had the “guys I think we need to get kephrii in here to watch at .25x speed...” it’s so pathetic that a large streamer gets so worked up about being worse that he has to show everyone “blatant hacks” that might not seem like regular high tier aim to people, so with the right level of influence hearing “this isn’t natural aim, see that? That thing right there? Definitely hacks.” If you say it confidently and have the rank and following to match people are going to listen 🙄
And you don’t really have to worry about your friend being banned by chance, I’ve been called a hacker a few times too and had a whole lobby agree to draw bc the person was persuasive and it tilted me off the planet to be honest because it was a 40minute queue. A bigger issue from running into someone like him calling someone a hacker is the harassment they’ll face from fans.
TL;DR: Kephrii’s a little bitch, and your friend will be okay, (and that your English is great!)
fuck kephrii all my homies hate kephrii, but i've seen a handful of people i know on twitter getting their accounts banned after he reported them on stream, despite literally everyone knowing they don't hack. of course he'll deny it and just insist "if you weren't hacking you wouldn't be banned blah blah blizzard knows what they're doing i didn't have any hand in this" but he does wield some kind of leverage/power he absolutely should not.

may melee c9 stats
Across 3 days and 19 matches, there were a grand total of 26 c9s, averaging to 1.37 C9PM (c9s per match).
In total, there were only 3 matches (defiant/titans, dynasty/spark, and valiant/shock) without a c9. This means that in matches with at least 1 c9, ~1.63 c9s were committed on average.
Since we did not go a single day without a c9 (and have had at least 1 c9 a day for 13 match days straight), the longest streak of matches without a c9 was… 1 match.
……………Since we could not go 2 matches without a c9, the longest streak of maps without a c9 was 7.
Out of all 78 maps played, 23 had at least one c9, or ~29%.
The NA region was the worst for c9s, committing 17 c9s across 12 matches and averaging to 1.42 C9PM. The APAC region committed 9 across 7 matches, or an average of 1.29 C9PM.
If you want to break this down even farther, out of the 50 maps NA played, 32% had at least 1 c9. For APAC, 25% of its 28 maps had a c9.
Shanghai Dragons committed the most c9s in total, with 4.
To make things more fair, I also averaged c9s across total matches played. The team with the highest average c9s/matches was the Washington Justice, with 2 in their 1 match. They also only played 3 maps in total.
Uprising/Eternal, Dragons/Spitfire, and Mayhem/Shock are all tied for most c9s per match, with 3 apiece (sidenote: all of those matches went ≥ 5 maps).
Two matches tied for the highest average c9s/map: Justice/Gladiators and Excelsior/Dragons, with 2 in 3 maps each.
Hollywood had the most c9s out of any map, with 4 (honorable mention to Hanamura and Blizzard World, which both had 3).
The specific map point with the most c9s was 3rd point Blizzard World, with 3.
Out of 20 teams, 7 played it safe and did not commit a single c9. Give it up for the Hunters, Outlaws, Spark, Gladiators, Dynasty, Valiant, and Titans everybody! Gladiators, Dynasty, and Valiant also played multiple matches, so an extra special thanks go to them.
nobody touch me i’m so emotional about fearless, who was part of the 0-40 season, didn’t manage to revitalize that shanghai team, had to go back to contenders, comes back to dragons, and now, in a finals tournament, is subbed in when his team in down 3-0… and leads them to an incredible reverse sweep, being named player of the match!!!
“hi welcome do mcdonalds, what can i get for you?”
