Diana rolled her eyes at Mikaela’s sense of humor. Slowly the petite blonde turned to face the ‘3 o’clock’ direction trying not to look so obvious. “He’s so not looking at me, you’re crazy!” Diana smirked turning back to face her coworker. “Whatever, I’m not interested anyways.”

“I probably look like I’m trying to steal someone’s car, but I’m not because this is my car,” Caleb continued, looking at the car and then at the blonde, “I left my keys in my car. I also left my wallet and my phone, so I’m already feeling kind of shitty because I have to go to a trial.” He realized his wording and backtracked. “It’s not my trial – I’m just representing someone.”

Staying quiet Diana nodded in agreement as she listened. He definitely looked suspicious standing next to a luxury car trying to get in. The petite blonde tilted her head at the word ‘trial’. “It does look that way, like you are trying to steal a car. How do I know you’re not lying? Maybe I should call the cops just to be sure, I mean.. How would you feel if someone was trying to break into your car with a paperclip and nobody questioned it? How do I know you’re telling the truth? Also if this is your car then why don’t you just call a company to come and open it for you, you don’t have anything to hide right?”

“I always wondered if it was for everyone,” Genevieve began, thinking back to her parent’s own divorce. Of course, she didn’t remember a thing, being a baby at the time, but she certainly saw the effects of it after. “Please tell me if I’m probing, I tend to do it when a subject catches my interest but..” She hesitated, chewing on her lip before continuing. “Do you ever wish you hadn’t married?”

“How fortunate am I that my misery is of interest to you.” Diana smirked simply teasing the other woman. “No, it’s okay. I don’t mind talking about it anymore. Of course I wish I hadn’t married. Call me old fashion but I think marriage is sacred and when I said ‘I do’ on the alter I really meant till death do us part. I never wanted to divorce, that’s my only reason for wishing I hadn’t been married. I did enjoy being a wife.” At first when she was going through the divorce she never wanted to talk about it. She even hid the fact that she was getting divorced in general from friends and family. Now after months of counseling, support, and prayer she felt like she was at a better place. She could speak about the divorce and not feel such an ache.

Some people really deserves it.” She shook her head. “It was probably entertaining the first time, but after that she’s just crazy. Yes, of course. “It’s not that I don’t swear, I have and I do but I’m trying really hard not to. I just think that those words aren’t really necessary in our vocabulary.” Diana explained with a small shrug. “Definitely, I was enjoying it up until she told me about getting married in my near future. I do have to say, she was certainly a gutsy psychic, I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s wacky too! She actually had the nerve to give me her business card even after I asked her to stop.”

“Earlier today I was waiting to get into this store right when the doors opened, so I’m stand there, waiting patiently. At one point I felt like I’d been queuing for ages, so I look at my watch and it was supposed to open, like, ten minutes ago. I was totally frustrated by this point because I had to be at work soon, so I knocked on the door maybe a little too aggressively, and one of the workers answered and said I needed to go through the front door. Yea, I had been waiting at the wrong door for about thirty minutes. What can I say; I’m a genius.”

“Are you serious?” The petite blonde laughed. “I wouldn’t have gone in after that, I would have been to embarrassed. All the employees were probably like ‘this idiot’. What did you need to get anyway that you were willing to wait outside for 30 minutes?”

I am sorry for your lose, it’s never easy especially when it’s a parent.” Diana responded. “Uh... yeah you could say that. I’m a sucker for a tearful wedding vow, I’m a total dork in that sense.”

Caleb was picking the lock of a black Mercedes-Benz sedan’s door when he heard the sound of footsteps. He hastily stood up from his position on the ground, raising his hands. Unfortunately, he was still gripping the paperclip, which he was using to unlock his car – but the individual who caught him red-handed (obviously) didn’t know that. ❝ — I can explain. ❞

"Hey, are you suppose to be doing that?” Diana raised her brow as she asked. It was slightly weird to see someone trying to open their car with a paperclip. She was on her daily jog around the neighborhood until the man’s suspicious actions caught her attention. “You’re looking a little strange standing there trying to get in. You know cars have something called keys and they work wonders. Dude, is this even your car?”

“No, I have no idea what I’m talking about. I’ve only had a psychic reading once, and that was because she got hired to show up at a friend’s birthday party. She did tell me that there’s gonna be a string of horrible years sometime in my future, though, so I’m not exactly a fan,” he said with a grin. At her dog comment, he chuckled. “Is this the part where I’m supposed to give a ‘not all men’ speech?”

“People actually hire psychics for parties? That’s so awful. I’d be mad if I were the birthday person.” She laughed shaking her head. “That’s mean but hey it could have been worse, she could have told you when you were going to die. I’m sure it’s all crap but there’s something really chilling about it anyways.” The petite blond scrunched up her nose. “No, I’ve heard the speech before so you can definitely save it. But thanks?”
