I've said before that russophobia isn't real and russians should understand it, but I want also ad that ukrainians should understand that it's impossible to cancel all russians.

Because often someone who is russian or isn't russian but has worked with russians/in russia before getting hate for that by ukrainians.Yes, we should boycott russian brands, companies or people who openly support russian aggression.BUT hating on all of these people is impossible.Also like why we don't hate on all countries then?It would mean hating even your own country.

The thing is: there is a war in ukraine, a lot of ukrainians lost their loved ones, their house, their country and even culture and language are being destroyed.Of course it makes people mad, so I think that's why some may go to far and that's why people from other countries have different opinion.

We need to remember that A LOT of people still work and are friends with russians and we can't do anything about it.But we shouldn't hate every russian artist, influencer etc who doesn't support russia, doesn't live there anymore and doesn't give concerts there.Situation with people who live there is a bit harder.Technically, they didn't do anything, but they at least silently support russia, sponsor war etc.At the same time it's actually hard to move from your country, not only financially.You have to live everything you had before, who if not ukrainians should understand it (situations are completely different, but still).Russians should take responsibility for what is going in Ukraine, still we can't just hate on everyone who is from russia because at the end of the day why did you chose to be born in Ukraine then?🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️But also I am really annoyed by how russians/russia are romanticized by westerners.I think even russians are shocked when they see all that shit, because most of it either not true or absurd.Like, no, most russians don't look like that, and no, poorness isn't cool.And especially when they romanticize russian soldiers🤢🤮🤮it's disgusting.

I have been daydreaming everyday since like 6-7 years old.Now that I'm trying to get rid of it, even like 30 minutes with actually me are so quiet and calm, because I literally ALWAYS daydream if I'm not reading, doing homework or something that needs to think about it, but anyway I will stop and daydream.But when I listen to music, draw, play games, eat, cook, take shower, walk etc I daydream.Doing these things and not daydreaming feels so weird and calm, refreshing, I like it.But the thing is: I can't stop daydreaming, even though I hate it.I love the scenarios I have, but maladaptive daydreaming is shit.I daydream automatically.I can think that I need to stop doing it and literally minute after I'll do it again and then stop myself and minute after I'll do it again and again and again...it's so annoying..

What I have been noticing for a long time is that I always daydream about being who I want to be and getting attention maybe??I don't really crave attention this much, but I think I absolutely could change myself.Changing myself to who I want to be can help me.But I was daydreaming for years and now it's my habit.I do it automatically.Technically I can just stop myself everytime I catch myself doing it, but how long will it take to get rid of this habit?

sometimes i think about how i’ve effectively dug myself a grave with this blog. half my internet presence is about being queer and ukrainian, famously two things russia hates the most.

if trump proceeds with the “peaceful negotiations” that happen without ukraine even present, if he pushes to implement another leader in ukraine (meaning, of course, a pro-russian puppet) and makes my country a quote unquote neutral territory, it obviously means occupation. when there are bombs over my head, i’m at least an abstract target, i can rely on luck not to get hit. if russians come to power tho? i’m toast.

i wish i was exaggerating, but this is already happening to people in occupied parts of the country. those who had social media posts in ukrainian, about queer rights, etc. are being seeked out and threatened. my acquaintance was once on call with her friend on crimea, who had weird noises in the background. when questioned, she casually said that they were coming from russian police beating her neighbour for listening to ukrainian music.

i constantly hear from people who miraculously left the occupied territories how they had to delete everything from their phones, because russian soldiers would do random phone searches — both just on the street or when a person tries to leave the occupied city. it’s not uncommon that people get shot over it.

May be a hot take, but russophobia does not exist.What russians call "russophobia" is actually just russians being treated as they deserve, after all the things they did to countries around them.

Of course people won't be the nicest to you after your country stole their history and culture, banned their language and oppressed their people.

Different people can have different emotions, which is okay.You have never felt what they feel all the time, so you can't say how they should feel.

I agree that some people may actually hate all russians, but it doesn't mean that russophobia is a thing.Russians aren't being oppressed or discriminated in any way.To say that russophobia exists because some people actually hate all russians is to say that racism and hate that cancelled celebrities get when they fucked up is equal.

I personally try my best not to hate russians, which can be really hard when you open a history book, news or just look around.I understand that hating on all of them will be wrong, but it's really hard to control, which they need to understand.

A lot of countries speak russian and it's not because "historically it happened that way" as they like to say.

And boycotting something is not equal to hating on people.If you can boycott at least some thing then do it!!Not sponsoring war isn't hating on people.
