Vlas Blomme at FAB LAB Tel Aviv, May 2013
In Flemish, Vlas Blomme means flax flower. Using mostly high grade linen called Kortrijk from the Flanders region of Belgium (which is known for its centuries old flax industry), they emphasize on creating clothing that feel comfortable on the skin. Their signature look has a worn-in, relaxed silhouette.

SINCE 1896 GUIDO GUIDI, GIOVANNI ROSELLINI AND GINO ULIVO ESTABILISHED "CONCERIA GUIDI E ROSELLINI" AT PESCIA IN TUSCANY. HERE THE ART OF LEATHER TANNING CAN BE TRACED TO THE MIDDLE AGE, WHEN A GUILD OF TANNERS AND SHOEMAKERS EXISTED SINCE XIV CENTURY.
GUIDI 1896 srl, now at FAB LAB Tel Aviv
PASSION FOR LEATHER AND RESPECT FOR ITS TRADITION ARE THE ONLY MEANINGS OF GUIDI'S SHOE COLLECTION PROJECT. HE REFUSES THE MASS PRODUCTION LOGIC BEING FOCUSED ON HIS OWN INDEPENDENT RESEARCH BEYOND ALL THE TENDENCIES. SHOES FOR ALL THOSE WHO REALLY WANT SOMETHING UNIQUE WITH A TWIST OF TRADITION. SHOES THAT ONLY A CRAFTSMAN WOULD BE ABLE TO MAKE, COMING IN SOFT,CANDID HIDES OR IN A DISTRESSED, STRONG SMELLING, THICKEND LEATHER.GUIDI IS SYNONYMOUS WITH THE TIE EXISTING BETWEEN THE OBJECT AND ITS POSSESSOR.
Marie Antoinette’s Tomboy Leisurewear at Rundholz S/S 2013 Now at FABLAB Tel Aviv
Since the brand’s birth in 1993, the husband and wife team, Lenka and Carsten Rundholz have been designing and innovating unique sculptural ensembles for stylish and edgy women who are blasé towards looking trendy. Their brand is the definition of effortlessly chic. It may have the pretense of not caring for appearances, but that actually makes it the epitome of classic cool.
White. The symbolic color of purity, the material shade of modernity, the raw ethos of simplicity. Tucked away in a quaint and quiet courtyard, inconspicuously across from the colossal Pompidou, hid a white light box of a room for the intimate showing of Rundholz’s latest collection.
The combination of feminine elegance with menswear dapper make the collection fit for a queen — Marie Antoinette’s tomboy leisurewear. The subtle rococo prints, etched into matching pantsuits and moomoo-esque sac dresses, epitomize the brand’s volition for simplicity, timelessness, and agelessness.
