I have new markeeeeers! Still no Copics cause you know, expensive.. But I did some research on cheaper alcohol markers and those were recommended by a lot of people. Touch five markers are available on AliExpress and I got the 30 pieces Animation set. This is the first time I use them and I like them so far. Let the post #inktober experimenting begin! I was strolling around at Hema today, which is a big store here in Belgium and they have a small children's art section. So I found a metallic gouache set for probably 3 euros - super exciting right! :D I've never used gouache before, but I'll definitely try to do something with it!

Last day of #inktober! That was a busy month! I'm so glad that I decided to do it because I felt like I was improving with every single day. There are so many great things about finding something you love doing so much that you are willing to do it every day! The main things I learned from #inktober2017 are that first of all this feeling most of us have that we have to do everything perfect is a bit less than before. I know that I will improve because I am doing it every day and if I don't draw it the way I want, I still have the idea on paper and I can work on it later. Second - I don't have to commit to anything - experimenting with different topics and media is actually what keeps me motivated to continue drawing and learning. So there are a few things I have to mention here :D first of all - this is a mixed media piece in the full sence of the term! I started working on it yesterday evening, did the rough pencil sketch but got super sleepy and decided to finish it today BUT my yellow marker decided to quit his job and stop painting in the middle of my colouring... So I finished it digitally ;D This is a house in Brussels that I walk by everyday and I find it so damn cute! And yes, I exaggerated the greenery a tiny bit... (at Brussels, Belgium)
