– What if we have discovered time travel already but we can’t remember it, since it’s altering our time stream… Like, if you have deja vu, you’re slightly remembering when the time stream changed…. So we HAVE been here before, but our timelines changed so we don’t remember it….
“...Anyway. That’s enough stuff that’ll make my brain hurt.”
“ I’M OUT, ” Vaughn cried out, entering one of the courtyards with a bright grin over his lips. “ For fuck’s sake, that was utter torture. ”
“Scream louder, I don’t think Russia heard you.”
“I gotta say, this situation kinda sucks, but I’m really into this whole no classes thing. Not having homework to do is fabulous.”
“It’ll wear off soon, trust me.”
“Yay,we’re free!”Freya said while doing the happy dance.”Plus it’s the weekend so even better.”
“Now that I’m not stuck in that damn place anymore, please tell me that there’s more to this damn school. Like, oh I don’t know, some place to get coffee?”
I’m not too sure if I like living in this human realm thing, humans can be quit cruel and very, very dumb and so uneducated about the supernatural life.
“Thanks.” Came Diana’s sarcastic, short reply. “You know, we try so hard to strive for all of that, I’m glad it’s paying off. And just so you know, you're all not that much of a joy to be around either.”
“Nothing new? What the hell kind of school is this? If this is the way this place runs I’m calling my rents and getting out.”
“Don’t ask me.” Diana replied, shrugging her shoulders. “But if you do that, can I come with?”
“You know you’re at a school for supernaturals, right? Everyone here’s got super somethin’. I doubt your punches are gonna do much against the kids here.” Of course, he wasn’t being entirely truthful, there were definitely some kids who could be pummeled — he’d have done it himself had he been able to — but she didn’t need to know that.
“Then I’m screwed!” Diana exclaimed in exasperation, her arms thrown up momentarily before they fell back to her sides. “Who’s bright idea was it to allow poor, defenseless humans to this damn place anyway?”
Her response made Tony’s smirk grow a bit wider. “Doesn’t necessarily surprise me, considerin’ most of the humans here think they can hold their own. But they’ve never gone up against a vampire with super speed, or a witch who can hex ‘em from a mile away. Have you?” A cocky laugh passed through his lips. “A couple o’ monsters? Babe, there’s monsters lurkin’ around every corner ‘round here.”
“Up until now, I didn’t have to hold up against supernatural creatures. But I’ll have you know, I’ve been very capable against muggers and other creeps, so if who I’m up against doesn’t have stupid super strength, I should be able to throw a couple of punches.” She replied, put off by the male in front of her and his lack of faith in her physical strength. “And yes, thank you. I’m completely aware of that.”
“no i’m not going to suck your blood, but i’ll definitely have a slice of you later.” connor said with a small wink before turning away.
“Oh no, i’m absolutely shaking with dread and fear.” Diana deadpanned, trying to keep her lips from twitching up in amusement.
“S..Someone went missing? But how could that happen? Aren’t we all being watched super closely?” Kingston ran his fingers through his hair with a small sigh.
“Obviously not closely enough.”
“Let me guess I arrived at an awkward time? Typical me. So are you gonna fill me in?”
“Kind of, but don’t worry. You’re not the only one. Basically someone is threatening the school and some kid has already gone missing. But I hear it’s nothing new or anything to worry about.”
“Not to sugar coat it, but it truly it is. I’m only hoping things turn out for the greater good. Too bad I don’t have psychic powers that come along with my magic.”
Diana could only offer a sheepish half grin. “I wish I had anything to help with all of this.” She murmured before sighing. “I’m Diana, one of the only humans around here, it would seem.”
“It is more than a mouthful, it means butterfly and I would never associate myself with something so… delicate.”
Diana pondered this as she examined the girl for a brief moment. “Okay, point taken.”
“Not my lot. A few walls ain’t gonna stop me from wanderin’.” Tony noticed the nervousness in the girl, bringing a smirk to his face. “What’s the matter? Scared o’ the monsters?”
His words had her eyes narrowing and her lips pressed into a thin line. “This might surprise you, but I can very well hold my own. But seeing as I am one from a handful of humans in this entire school, you might consider me weary on what I can hold up against ‘round here.” She flashed him a lazy smirk. “But no, a couple of monsters don’t scare me.”
“ Looks like I’ll never adjust to this school then- being new and all, ” He grinned.
“We’re in the same boat, then.” Diana replied with a half grin of her own. “Should I get my hopes up and assume you might be human too?”
