The Mediums: *The Disparity #TheDisparity A poster series visualizes the data of marijuana arrests In New Jersey, emphasizing the bleak disparity between arrests in the black compared to the white community. The posters also provide a broader view of arrest totals in NJ between 2013 and 2017. *The Deets #TheDeets A booklet provides information about marijuana legalization in the U.S., including which states have legalized it, decriminalized it, or where it remains entirely illegal. It explains the charges that someone might face if arrested for marijuana possession, raising awareness. *The Heard #TheHeard A video further expands on the effects of possession charges, and incarceration on an individual’s life.
