Our lovely treehouse 🌳 🏡
Such a bliss, to be in this wonderful hideaway...high above the ground, with a hot tub on the veranda and a net to play inside! My little princesses were over the moon! 🎊🥰
See more of how we enjoy here!
🍼🥰🦕
I was feeling so cute and fresh in this get-up. In non-diaper news, I spent a lovely evening yesterday visiting a friend and trying out their new hot tub! ✨ It was so much fun with the changing lights and bubbles. (I don't think you're actually supposed to have bubbles in a hot tub, but it was so fun—I felt like I was sitting in a giant bubble bath.)
Of course, I had to pee well before everyone else. I don't know if it was the saltwater hot tub, the drinks, or both, but I suddenly had to go so badly. When I was climbing out, I felt like I could barely hold it and a little leaked out.
I didn't think I'd make it all the way inside, and I didn't want to drip water all over the freezing house, so I just ran over to the grass and peed through my bathing suit instead. 🌿 Everyone was laughing, but they all thought I'd simply decided to pee outside instead of going inside. Little did they know that if I hadn't, I probably would've left a trail of pee all the way through the house. (Which would not be the first time I’ve done that). I think because I was a little tipsy, I didn't really care—I just hopped right back into the hot tub afterward. 💦
🤍 Hang out with me on JFFs! 🤍

Why you'll almost never see me in anything but an all-white plastic-backed plain diaper with adhesive tapes:
Growing up, my interest in diapers and being babied again began very young, around age 4-5, and it just never went away. Diapers were always a source of comfort and security to me, as well as blushy, flustered feelings.
That said, I didn't grow up with printed diapers. We were really poor when I was an infant/toddler, especially after my POS dad walked out on us, so most of the diapers my mom could afford were the old Luvs that were all white. I wore those in varying sizes throughout my entire babyhood, simply because they were less financial strain on my mom, and because of that I never developed nostalgia for prints.
And to compound on that, most of my nostalgia for diapers is tied to my awakenings that were almost always in cartoons, both old and modern. Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes (OG and Baby), Codename: Kids Next Door, Ed, Edd, n Eddy, Spongebob, Fairly Odd Parents, Chowder, Camp Lazlo, etc. Those episodes with "The Writer's Barely-Disguised Fetish" were such major influences in my formative years that while I can appreciate some prints (late 00s-early 10s butterfly goodnites, and ABU Lavenders, my beloved...), my entire draw to diapers was reinforced by cartoons that featured almost exclusively all white plain diapers.
As for the adhesive tapes, that comes more with my going 24/7 as an adult and my both pre-existing, and further reinforced incontinence thru my unpottytraining efforts. Certain brands have better tapes than others, but when you find the right brand, with tapes that offer the just-right level of security and confidence, you learn to love them. Being a Megamax brand whore for years up until recently, I still consider the V1s to be the golden standard for 4 tape diapers, and if I could put them on a brand like Rearz Mega Inspire+, my current daily driver, I'd never switch to another brand again.
Which brings me to my issue with hook-and-loops. While they are able to mirror the experience of actual baby diapers, they feel significantly less secure, and what grinds my gears the most is that for those of us with thicc thighs and hips, all it takes is one wrong move to pop a tape. Infinite re-sealability is a double-edged sword because it also means that there's no guarantee they will stay in place if you stretch or bend in a way that forces enough pressure on the chassis to make them pop off. As someone who spends like 95% of their time laying in bed, this genuinely shouldn't be an issue I have to consider and it's beyond annoying. And to top it off, as the diaper continues to age, either from wear or continued use, the tapes start to rub against the skin of your thighs as the material of the diaper recedes closer to your groin, which can cause irritation to them, and make you feel like you constantly have to re-adjust them throughout your day. All in all, this just makes me feel anxious about the fit and seal, and makes me worry about whether or not the diaper is going to be able to do its job. Also hook-and-loops on plastic backs? No. Just no.
And this also affects my distate for cloth backed diapers. While I can admit the material is extremely comfortable texture-wise, and the positional prints can be downright adorable, when you wear 24/7 for need rather than occasionally for fun, you have to consider function over fashion. Adequacy over aesthetic. And cloth backs genuinely make me feel incredibly insecure because I feel like they are the least likely to maintain their structural integrity over long-term wear, and will lead to more leaks. They bunch up quicker and faster than plastic backs, and they lack the outer layer that resists this for longer, which means the seal between the diaper and your inner thighs is less airtight, which means leaks are more likely to occur. Not to mention when you combine cloth backs with hook-and-loops, you have to constantly consider the material of the bottoms you wear because the Velcro will constantly get caught on the inside of your pants, dress, or skirt, and the friction of the diaper against harsher materials like denim or suede will start to degrade the quality of the cloth, leading to fraying fluff and can even affect the landing pad making the Velcro of the hook-and-loops less effective.
And I think we can all agree that when it comes to odor-blocking and moisture wicking, cloth-backs are absolutely inferior. They have little to no ability to prevent lingering odor, so as soon as it's used, it becomes apparent to everyone around you. As someone who has to make a whole case last a month at a time, and is blessed with an immunity to diaper rash that has existed since I was an infant (confirmed by my mother), the ability to make the smell less of everyone else's problem is paramount, especially since I have to wear all the time which includes in public. Plastic backs are simply unmatched when it comes to keeping odors more contained, at least for most brands. Not to mention, the crinkle factor? Cloth backs have a slight rustle but literally lack the material to give that signature crinkle that makes ABDL and agere peoples' hearts flutter. How are you gonna give us the most baby printed diaper and give it zero crinkle? It's a travesty!!
*sigh* Obviously people will have their own preferences, be it thru nostalgia, sensory issues, OCD-influence, or just babyish taste. This is simply my take, and one I've been wanting to make for a long time.
Thanks for coming to my PADtalk.
