A wise woman BUILDS her home. But a foolish woman TEARS it down with her own hands. Proverbs 14:1 Gen 2:18 - Then the LORD God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him. He is the 'assignment' you were given. It is your responsibility to build, help, pray, cultivate, support, back and push. Some men appear to have it 'all together', but deep within they are lost. Some have plans but have no idea how to bring them to life. Whichever type of man you end up with, sooner or later the gaps will show. That is not the time to run, it's actually the time that you come face to face with your God ordained role. If they were 100% 'all together' that would mean Gods plan to create a HELPER was more or less pointless. Which can never be the case. It's not always pretty in the beginning, neither is it attractive in the middle; but the end is sweet. I pray every woman who is in the process of 'building & helping' receives strength and wisdom. Wisdom to know the right words to say, how to word things to avoid pride clashes. I pray you receive strength to continue building your home, in the midst of several other responsibilities. You will never grow weary. IJN. Amen. 😘

Be sure about your plans and be sure about the direction you want to take in life. Without direction and a concrete plan you will be easily swayed by the opinions of the people around you and the directions of those that have attempted to walk the same journey you are embarking on. Your dreams and visions were given to YOU and you alone therefore you cannot expect people to understand where you are going. In a nutshell that is why, it is essential that YOU have a plan and a clear vision for your life, careers, businesses and ventures.

Only those who have experienced these storms and trails will understand the lengths the devil will go to, to tear a good thing apart. It's a strategy to stop you from receiving the favour of God and the blessings that comes with a union blessed by God. Don't get me wrong marriage is NOT a bed of roses, however the blessings that come with it are indescribable. There are extreme situations where one has to opt out and break away, which is understandable. But in those situations where you can hang in there and work things out. Do it.. What is an accountability partner? An accountability partner is someone you share your plans and ‘must-do’ tasks with. Your accountability partner holds your feet to the fire and makes sure you complete what you said you would complete. An accountability partner is a person you do not want to let down. An accountability partner is someone who gives you encouragement when you need it, motivation to finish your tasks, and a boot to the bottom when you don’t finish what you were supposed to finish. An accountability partner is like a gym partner: he/ she is there to spot you on bench press, he/ she is there to encourage one last rep or two. Lastly an accountability partner is that person that will say well done, then ask you, what's next on the list of to do's. Iron sharpens iron.

Stop trying to resurrect what is already dead and buried. The end of that relationship was supposed to be used as a lesson to be applied to the next. It gave you an understanding of what you do and do not want in a partner; so see it as a learning curve rather than a pitfall. Fighting with the old, distracts you from the new. Love as many times as you need to. When you find 'the one' it'll all be worth it. Falling in love with someone new should never be a scary experience. Love can never be depleted or exhausted because, God is the source of love.

I quickly became depressed as I compared my life of working nights and studying to the lavish lives of others around me. I blocked out the world, shut my friends out and drowned myself in my thoughts and prayers. I asked myself, why am I on this earth, what is my purpose, what am I giving to my community, what impact am I making. I attempted to begin a journey of selflessness. Focused my efforts on giving, rather than receiving. I vowed that I would wake up every morning and read a scripture and from that scripture, I would write a motivational message to my followers which were like 10/12 people at the time. Boy am I glad I started this journey, not only have I been able to reach so many people. I have been soooo blessed by you guys also. Those that inbox me to say "thank you" or just to tell me "keep going", you are the reason why this page still exists. I have tried to delete this page so many times but here I am today! There is no excuse! Before giving birth, admittedly I thought wow, my life is going to be on hold for the next one year or so. I thought there was no way I could chase my dreams and juggle motherhood. Soon after giving birth, I realised that a child is a blessing, not a burden. That, 'I can't' mentality is an lie from the pit of hell. Being a mother is no excuse to slack. We are women, women multitask; our mothers did so why can't we? This is just one example of an excuse and I'm sure there are many more. But the moral of the story is, GET ON WITH IT. If success isn't our portion, we have nobody else to blame in this world, but ourselves. We were created by God to have dominion over the earth. This earth is ours, we just have to reach out and take what is ours. Genesis 1:28 - And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

You pray for a family, do you have the job to feed that family? You prayed for a husband but are you fully equipped to be a wife? You prayed to pass that exam, has thorough revision taken place? Sometimes we fool ourselves into thinking God will come down from heaven and bless us with all these things that we aren't prepared to receive. Set your mind on what you want to see happen, renew your mind from old ways and habits; that is the beginning of preparing to receive what you are praying for. New blessings won't come via old habits. Matthew 25:23 'You are a good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over this small amount, so now I will give you much more.'.

A word of advice to the lads..Watch how you treat women. There is nothing worse than a women with a saddened soul who is prepared to go to any length to repay your wrongs. 95% of women will store up their feelings and wait for the right time to let it all out. When you need to, admit your wrongs and apologise. Do so sincerely rather than creating a false image of yourself to the public eye but your reality is the complete opposite. (1 Corinthians 13:1-2 "If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing".) I see so many men who get away with murder, but one thing they forget is the power women have when they pray in tears and sadness. God sends his angels on assignment on their behalf as they are seen as the weaker vessel and halts every prayer that man prays. 1 Peter 3:7 - Show honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered. A word is enough for the wise.

Moral of the story.. Save your money! Set yourself up for financial security and a future of possibilities by saving and investing . Forget about the luxuries of life for now and sacrifice. It will pay you in the future.

Don't be blinded by infatuation whilst dating. Be aware of signs and behaviours that are shown whilst dating. As over analytical as it may seem, doing this can save you so much heartache which comes as a result of making the decision to settle with the wrong person. For example, if he is consumed by attention from the opposite sex, this should ring alarm bells. If he switches off 'constantly', shutting you out, this is another sign that isn't to be ignored. If he has an issue with his temperament, be careful and vigilant as it can develop into something nasty if help is not sought at an early stage. Love is not blind, people just use it as an excuse to turn a blind eye to signs. A wise woman builds her home, but a foolish woman tears it down with her own hands. (Proverbs 14:1). If you want to build one that will last, use wisdom.
