fight song || caroline&liam
Caroline was practically bouncing by the time Liam made his way down into the basement, though she tried to keep her excitement hidden. It was still quite obvious, however. Her hair was tied back into a loose bun and she wore a sports bra along with a pair of yoga pants. Sure, they werenât designed for the ask at hand, but they werenât designed for Golden Girls marathons either and thatâs what theyâd be used for if she didnât use them to practice fighting.
She gave a laugh at his question. âAm I nervous? I thought youâd know better,â she teased, acting cocky just to mess with himâand maybe to mimic him just a little. âAre you nervous? Just wait until I can tell everyone I beat you up.â She highly doubted that would happen, but it was still an amusing thing to consider.
Liam let out a chuckle at her words, shaking his head and then pressing his lips together. It would be really amusing to watch her try to kick his ass, or anyoneâs heâs ever trained before (he couldnât deny that there were some of his men that he had taken a liking to because he was the one to teach them a trick or two). âIâm not nervous, ever.â He remarked, shaking his head yet again, trying to hide the fact that he just wanted to laugh at every word that came out of her mouth at that moment.Â
He walked over to a cabinet and took out a pair of water bottles and a medicine ball, walking over to Caroline afterwards. âHere.â He said, setting the bottles and the medicine ball down between them. âRun a few laps.â Liam told her before he walked back, took off his shirt and then wrapped his hands and wrists with white wraps as he walked towards her again. âGotta warm up before anything.â Then, he turned some music on -- itâd make things less heavy.Â
