this and also, being forced to be in the public all. the. fucking. time. really gets to you. i have had breakdowns in my husband's car over our situation because there was no where else to have them, all while I could here people going about their lives in the background. it sucks so fucking bad to constantly be on display but to never be acknowledged. people will sit and ask why i spend so long in our car and when i tell them im homeless they completely ignore what i said in favor of changing the subject to something more palatable. for them.

most people can't handle knowing that a homeless person works with them, knows them, talks to them. they always, ALWAYS switch shit up the minute you explain anything to them.

I am so sick and tired of being homeless

just fucking listen for a sec. no one looks at you. no one wants to be around you. there is no where to go, to spend your time. because there is no where to spend your time, time drags like fucking molasses. an hour lasts 5 years. a day is 100 years. there is nothing to do because there is no where to go, not without spending money. and guess what? 9/10 times, you have NO MONEY to spend at those places! because you have to save it to eat. or to put fuel in your vehicle. and if you spend any extra money you have on something to make your life even a little bit better, people judge the FUCK out of you. oh, if you have money, you should have a place. oh, if you have a job, you should have a place. oh, if you can go to mcdonalds every night, you should have a place. news flash: fast food is the cheapest option to stay fed while your homeless. sure there are a small handful of things you can get from the grocery store, but guess the fuck what? most of it needs to be microwaved! to be safely eaten! it has to be warmed up! and guess where one would use a microwave! please, tell me where i should go to have access to this. please, tell me what I should be doing differently. please, tell me how i should live my life, something you know NOTHING ABOUT.
