Honoring the Craft:

I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands. Inspiration is my meditation because through it, bares creation. The conception of the serenity scarf came about at one of my most vulnerable moments; this is when I find innovation and inspiration to be most heightened for me. The pressure cooker of life or the feeling of my hands being tied often pushes me into unexpected innovation. It is my serenity, my place of solace.

The focus and concentration that comes through the conception of creation removes any anxiety and fills my spirit. This is the sense of peace, love, hope and wealth, that I’d like to share through the embodiment of serenity.

I’ve been fortunate to travel some of the world to share in the creative processes of a myriad of cultures and have been forever changed by these experiences. Amongst every artisan I have encountered, I’ve personally witnessed a calm patience while watching each individual work at their craft while assisting in making my concept into a reality. It’s a moment I relish in, admire and am extremely motivated by.

My hope is to share this inspiration, a piece of my peace with and honor you through my craft.
