this summer i am WRITING and PAINTING and READING and GETTING OFF OF MY EVIL IPHONE
What you do in private, shows in public. Reading shows in a conversation. Your diet shows in energy. Your discipline shows in confidence. Your focus shows in your results. You are what you cultivate when no one is watching. Prioritize your time & focus on discipline/consistency.
I think part of getting better is complete ego death. Like you’re not above setting a timer for 5 minutes and focusing on a task. You’re not above doing a very simple 3 minute workout to start. You’re not above reading for 10 minutes a day when you first get out of your reading slump, even if you used to read for hours. You’re not above starting slow and then building up to where you want to be/where you once were. What you are above is total inertia. Doing something really is better than doing nothing. Radically accept where you are, radically accept your limits, and go from there. Don’t let your ego get in the way.
I kinda ate yesterday night
As part of my comeback, I apologised to my best friend from highschool and became transparent with her. We made up and made plans to hang out once she comes back home.
This is a reminder that even if something ended badly/ died out without intention, you can always own up to your mistakes and take accountability, and the two outcomes are either they don't accept and you move on with changed behaviour, or they accept and you move on, now with a rejuvenated connection, and with changed behaviour.
Sometimes distance can be an apology. Sometimes you need to apologise with words.
Day 2 of glowing up: MORNING
1) Woke up half an hour earlier today
2) Actually drank my tea instead of letting it cool for 3 hours by accident
3) Ate some amount of food for breakfast
4) Cleared out old papers
5) Reorganized unused notebooks and new textbooks
6) Did my skincare to remove my tan and target my sudden breakout
It's nearly 12 pm now so I'll post what I did in the afternoon in the evening! I'm proud of myself because I struggled to achieve the bare minimum.
Today's step towards glowing up: I put 12% glycolic acid cream on my dark knees and elbows, then moisturized my legs with aha/bha lotion.

No one is watching you as much as you think they are. No one cares if you're biking alone, playing basketball by yourself, or sitting by a river with a blanket and a book. What actually matters is how those things make you feel. Do they bring you peace? Do they make you happy? That’s what counts. Not some random stranger’s opinion that won’t even last ten seconds. think again

the thing about fiber art that nobody tells you about is that every single kind of fiber art is a gateway drug to other kinds of fiber art.
Yesterday, I went out with my friend and bought 4 books: The Argumentative Indian, two books on electronics and a book on calculus.
Today, I hope to write a manifestation list that makes my life a little more perfect. I am so privileged to have access to education the way I do, and to have friends that love me, and whom I love back.
