Leah Johnson is a YA/children's author known for her well received novels "You Should see me in a Crown " (2020) and "Rise to the Sun" (2021). She is from Indianapolis, Indiana. Johnson is openly queer and her first novel YSSMIAC helped her come to terms with it. It's one of my all time fave books!

Tanner Adell is a biracial singer-songwriter of yeehaw country music! She is most wll known for her feature on Queen Bey's 2024 album "Cowboy Carter". She was born in Kentucky and raised in California. Adell released her debut album in 2023 (entitled Buckle Bunny). She has made history as the first female country artist to perform at the BET awards. She is openly pansexual.

Small FYI: There is a lot about RuPaul that I don't agree with, but this is a 90s Icons theme and old girl helped put drag on the map in the 90s. So I chose her for this theme. I don't endorse her sometimes backwards beliefs. Moving on.

Rupaul aka Rupaul Charles aka Supermodel of the World

Rupaul is a drag queen, musician, writer, former talk show host, author, actress and creator/host of Rupaul's Drag Race. Rupaul is known for her singles "Supermodel (You Better Werk)" (1992), "Covergirl" (2009), and "Glamazon" (2011), along with countless others. She is a former club kid of the 80s and 90s. Was the first openly gay person (black queer person and black drag queen) to have their own talk show. She has done a lot for representation of black drag queens and queer black men. Nevertheless, she is problematic and I'm not here to sell yall on her.

Kevin Aviance is a drag queen, musician, fashion designer and nightclub personality. Aviance us a member of the legendary House of Aviance. He has multiple #1 singles on the Billboard dance Charts! He is a survivor of a homphobic hate crime. He is often to as an icon of gender bending fashion! Give him his 💐!
