Weird morning

Overslept because someone** turn off my tablet, so the alarm

I wake up  and they metion the things I done last year ago and for more than I take note of what I going to do today I would never do it. I get out of my house angry but covered with my glasses. i came to the presentation and my prof. Overslept.

Sure is a weird morning and what happen next?

Autism acceptance month is over...

 … but that doesn’t mean we should stop fighting for acceptance.

April isn’t the only month where autistic people are allowed to be proud and share autism positivity. If you want to share something you like about being autistic, do it!

April isn’t the only month where autistic people suffer from ableism, lies and injustice. If you want to vent about something ableist that happened to you or a loved one, do it!

April isn’t the only month where we need to educate people about autism. If you want to talk about your symptoms and teach people what it actually means to be autistic, do it!

Turn every single month into autism acceptance month. Keep fighting. Keep educating. Keep talking. Talk until people listen. Keep being proud of yourself.

I have gotten a ton of support from the autistic community this month. I have over twice as many followers as when I started. I have received many kind messages and comments on my posts. It means a lot to see that my posts have helped people. It also means a lot to see the same people help me during my bad days.

All this support gives me the dedication I need to keep fighting. I don’t have time to make lengthy daily posts like I did this month, but I’ll make sure to keep reblogging / post about autism, both by making positive posts and by discussing ableist stuff.

Something I noticed is that all my most popular posts has been about famous autistic people. Since those posts were such a success, I’ll write 30 posts about autistic celebrities next year! That should be fun.

I hope all autistic and neurodiverse people had a wonderful autism acceptance month!

Tips for getting through your early/mid twenties

 Your physical size is literally utter bullshit to waste your time worrying about. The right people will love you no matter what. Promise. 

 Facebook is THE WORST thing to scroll through if you feel like shit about your life and that you’re not doing enough. Everyone romanticizes the shit out of their lives on Facebook.

Your first couple jobs you probably aren’t going to love. You’re working your way towards the career you want and most people don’t start right away in what they want to do, or even KNOW exactly what they want to do. 

Anyone who is in their early - mid twenties and says their lives are great and act like they have their shit all sorted out are fucking L Y I N G and putting up a front. it’s bullshit. 

Occasionally, rewatch your favorite movies and reread your favorite books from childhood. Sometimes it’s good to be nostalgic and feel that safe place for a bit. 

You don’t have to smile just because someone wants you to or expects you to. Smile because you want to. Period.
