even though with that little stunt of his that caused him to choke on his own spit and ALMOST made him have a whole coughing fit in public;Momota was considering throwing away the damn thing.

Whatever, he will just say he had one in his bag or something At least that would make him look a bit less like a tool that caves to Oumas every whimp.

Momota finally arrived to Oumas house, they didn't live far away, but he took a while to decide what kind of brand he should get for the cat,

He was never a cat person, in his fragile memories he remembers very vividly having a dog for all of his life. He wasn't sure on how to act so he ended up getting a million different types of cat food and some toys with the hope of not getting scratched right away.

"Im here, seems like its your lucky day; I found a Panta in my bag. I got some food and some toys

Sooooo....

Where is the creature?"

Ouma can just imagine Momota's cherry red face at his totally innocuous and oh-so-innocent comment. He almost regrets not saying it in person but there was always a next time, he supposed. The thought of flustering Momota out in public was enough enjoyment for now.

It wasn't his fault that he was just sooo easy to rile up, whether over the phone or otherwise! But this time it wasn't one of his lies―pinkie promise! If anything Momota was the big fat liar in this situation if he was denying such a thing. He should know better if their experiences in bed were anything to go by. Hmph!

What snaps him out of his numerous schemes to get his stinky not-astronaut was the click of his front door unlocking, and the cat leaping out of his arms at the sound. He knew Momota lived close nearby ( a fact Ouma was neither pleased or angry about to his dismay ) but it still surprises, and amuses, him at how fast he was quick to bound over to Ouma's side like a lost puppy.

“Aww, you did buy it for me! Like a good minion!” Ouma swoons as he pokes his head from the bathroom door, fluttering his eyelashes for greater effect. Without another word, he brings his hand out, smiling sweetly.

Before Momota gets to see the cat ( that was now loudly mewoing in the tub that Ouma's moved away from and no doubt he would get noise complaints about ), he has to pay the toll!

Ouma's fully confident that @the-luminary-of-lies 'd arrive in the next half hour considering that ( whether it were a blessing or a curse―he'd rather not say ) Momota always seemed to be at his beck and call. For now, he moves over to the bathroom, the safest place in his messy apartment to let the beast free, to sink down in the tub.

King Horse (04:11 PM) : Huuuh? I thought you'd be excited over the idea of knocking me up 'cuz I know who you are. You can't lie to me!!! You heard scratching from the other side of your front door, you open it only to found a lump of...darkness? When inspect closely you realize it's just a black kitten.

What do you do?

This… has to be some prank, right? A joke? A warning, even?

Opening the door enough to peek down at the fuzzy void―he's never opened it fully without being prepared―he frowns. Although Ouma's seen stray cats in the small corner of the world he occupies at present, not once has he ever seen them stroll into his aparment building. Let alone start scratching at a door. And his door, no less.

Someone, some crazed fanatic, must have planted it here. As if to taunt him, that whoever this mysterious person was, was fully aware of his whereabouts. Ouma's frown only turns into a scowl at the thought. He deals with enough random shit in his mailbox as it, between Team Danganronpa forcing politely reminding him that he was chained to its whims and the incessant amount fanmail he recieves.

A cat… well, at least a cat was silly. Nothing more or nothing less－he hopes so, anyways.

( Considering it has no collar, he could cross out the idea that it had a tracking device, and as paranoid as he was, maybe it was slightly a bit too over the top to imagine some chip embedded in its skin to discreetly observe his movements instead. Ouma wouldn't put it past his beloved―eugh, yuck―fans to pull off some crazy scheme to get at him. )

Beyond that, he's not exactly equiped to invite a cat into his own house. Not having the basics was one thing, such as a litterbox, or food, but his whole apartment was a flurry of papers and other random junk that's tossed wherever because he can't come to throw them away. Basically a hazard zone for one kitten who he doesn't know what the hell it would do.

At the same time it wasn't as if he could just... leave it there. The scratching alone would drive him crazy, and he doesn't want the cat to garner attention that lead to his neighbours finding out that the Kokichi Ouma of New Danganronpa V3 was living right next door.

Snatching the kitten as fast as he could and promptly locking the door behind him, he looks down at one of the worst decisions he's ever made in his life. Well, if it was going to be his problem, then he might as well drag someone else down with him, too. Maybe, just hopefully, he can shove the responsibility over to him insead!

Momota tries, desperately, to grab onto Oumas arm so HE STOPS POKING HIM, he told him so many times that if he wants his attention he can just ask! Dammit!

(He hides a smile creeping in his face, its not like he's happy Ouma wants his attention at all...noooo, he would never!)

He ends up playing Oumas game and taking his finger biting it veryyy ~lightly~ , for payback, he grins a little pretending like this is some kind of victory

"Quit doing that! And JUST tell me what you want!!"

Ouma keeps prattering on even as Momota tries in vain to thwart his advances, “Were you even paying attention to me? I've been trying to talk to you for the past hour and you― OW!!!”

Anyone within a ten foot radius would have heard his ( very overblown and over exaggerated ) wail of pain as he starts bawling his eyes out. He's not all that offended that he bit his finger―well he kind of is but that was besides the point―it was more that self satisfying smirk on his face that grinded his gears. Or made his heart flutter and heat creep up his neck because Momota should not have a blinding smile no matter the circumstance. He was just playing unfair at that point!

“H-How DARE you slobber and―and CHEW on my finger like some TOY!!!” Yelling and blubbering, Ouma does what he does best: throwing a fit over nothing. Sticking his now-stinky and covered-with-saliva finger at Momota's cheek to aggressively jab, he glares up with tearful, angry eyes. “Are you some dog? Oh wait, my bad, 'cuz you're one, big, stupid PUPPY.”

“If you lowlifes haven't seen, my beloved Saihara-chan has gotten himself a lovely little figure announcement and that's why I have decided to grace everyone's presence again to deliver this wonderful news!” He's totally fine. Totally. And definetly not seething because he doesn't actually have the money to buy the damn thing.

Besides the point that he's kind of against Team Danganronpa using their likeness to sell merch ( geez, this series has been going for fifteen years and counting?! ) who doesn't want a mini detective on their desk to oogle at? He's got every figure himself!

... And it's totally not because the conglomerate keeps giving him free merch in return for marketing them, and he doesn't have the heart to throw his classmate's likenesses away.

Staring down at his phone, Ouma snorts. It was, admittedly, an impulsive decision on his part: standing in front of a mirror to get a ‘sexy’ shot of himself out of amusement more than anything else. Turns out, what he got was no picture of his nude body but instead his big fat thumb covering the frame, leaving everything but a slither of his legs to the imagination.

Normally, he'd delete such an incriminating image, but Ouma might know someone that'd appriciate this wonderful image of himself. The person in question better, because he's not going to get anything more than this!

He knows people'd kill ( literally―he knows the types of crazy fans he has ) for… whatever this was. For some reason.

Ouma.....chatting with Ouma is often than not a Russian roulette with very slim chances of getting an actual normal conversation yet Momota always makes sure to reply instantly because there's always the possibility of Ouma genuinely needing his help (even if that's the case, Momota has to first solve whatever riddle Ouma throws at him before he can actually understand what's going on.)

(And while he doesn't like to admit it, maybe he does enjoy the chaos)

Well, if this was a game of Russian roulette, then Momota got the bullet this time, as he sees the first message about how he's "a lonely asshole that gets no bitches" and before he can argue

That he does in fact get bitches (man,don't call them that ....) And HES ESPECIALLY NOT LONELY (he's FAMOUS for attracting ugly people in FACT!)

But even through his pride he focuses on the mysterious picture, Ouma's message implies that it might be...ahem. a //certain// type of pic...

He can't help but shake as he stares at the blank screen with the words "do you want to see more?" That seem to be staring back at him, judgingly.

Its not like he wants to see it,okay? He's just curious!

(Who is he kidding?, of course wants to)

....he puts all of his remaining courage to click on it....AND.....AND!!!!

Ok. Now he feels sorta stupid for thinking this was genuine,this is OUMA of course he wouldn't do something like that. Does Momota even know him????

And before he can really think about it he starts aggressively typing:

And then he kept going with various text of similar vein for at least a couple of minutes, till he realized that he just admitted to have clicked the picture which was for SURE gonna result in hours, no. days, no. MONTHS of teasing.

He let Ouma win this time. Dammit.

His phone buzzes erratically, assaulted by multiple texts in a row spanning several minutes; a new world record! As much as Ouma's tempted to check how angry, or turned on ( considering how amusing the idea of Momota getting turned on over him of all people was, he's not against the idea ) he was, he waits until the notifications taper off to make his move.

This was far from the first time he's sent his beloved, stinky not-astronaut random bullshit he had up his sleeve that day, and from experience Ouma knew that patience was key no matter how much he wanted to witness the fruits of his labor. Letting Momota stew in his emotions made his reactions even more funnier. And Ouma had to keep him on his toes! It was no fun if Momota could read his next move like an open book, after all.

Nevertheless to say, this had made his night. Not only does he have a screenshot that he's adding to his mental list of Momota's top ten cringefail moments ( number three will surprise you! ), he has more material to hold over his head whenever he wants something to go his way!

Even though at this point he knows Ouma better and thus doesn't fall so easily into his lies as he used to, he still can't help but get a little...soft when Ouma pulls the teared up look (even though rationally he knows that if he was really, genuinely upset that's not how he would react,in fact, it would be the exact opposite.)

But the softness quickly goes away once Ouma starts babbling once again about Momota being his "peon", so even as he's effectively rolling Ouma's wheelchair back to him he wastes no second to argue that:

"I think you are the one thats forgetting our dynamic, we wouldn't even have come this far if we didn't collaborate in the first place....

That means we are PARTNERS not-" he interrupts himself,realizing how that sounds from an outside perspective "in CRIME- I meant-" .....well that actually sounded corny.

Momota decides to instead focus on the wheelchair, rolling it to where Ouma is sitting but as he reaches to help the other boy; Ouma suddenly decides to change his mind.

And its like the fight leaves his body, replaced by a deep sense of worry, Ouma has been pretty much spending his time in his room (and...as shameful as it is to admit, so as Momota) he's clearly not eating right (knowing him, just some candy and soda) and worst of all he's clearly hungry;

Theres few options Momota could take right now; 1) is to get Ouma food himself, but he feels like that would just reinforce that he is his subordinate and as Much as he's worried, Momotas pride wouldn't allow him to lose an argument like that 2) to simply grab Ouma and force him to get something to eat.......but that seems like a very wrong thing to do. Very wrong.

The secret third thing which is ironically the hardest, is to just talk to him about it, understand what's wrong and come to a compromise, ultimately as for now, this is what feels best

"Nuh-huh, we are getting something to eat, you are hungry and you (we) could benefit from a breath of fresh air" he says, tone forceful which was not was he was supposed to do.

He tries again, his voice softens, he get noticeably quiet even though it's just the two of them, like somebody could walk in at any moment and see something they weren't supposed to.

"I mean" ... "Ouma.... what's wrong? We need to eat... I don't understand why you changed your mind so fast about it, did something happen?"

(He bites his lips, so he doesn't ask "did I do something wrong? 𝙊𝙧 𝙙𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙙𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙢𝙚?")

Seeing Momota flounder of the nature of whatever their relationship was, he can't help but quirk the corner of his lips upwards before returning it to his neutral, blank expression before Momota turns around to face him, wheelchair in tow.

“I'm… just not hungry anymore,” Ouma says plainly, looking down at his balled up fists instead. It was better than looking at Momota's face when he has that look ( one that he's not sure if he's doing it on purpose to make him feel bad or if he naturally looks, and acts, like a soggy puppy when he's disappointed in him ) that leaves a sour taste in his mouth.

Both of them know its a lie, a shoddy one at that.

Momota is smarter than he looks and is surprisingly keen when something's wrong, especially regarding him considering... all that, Ouma's aware. Yet, no matter how much time passes he cannot forgo the comfort and power that lies―or rather his manifactured persona―gave him.

If talking to Momota without it was already a struggle, he doesn't know what he'll do, or say, in front of an audience that consisted of his ‘classmates’ and the longer Ouma dwelled on it, the more solitude sounded appealing. He'd rather rot in his room and drown in his plans to take Team Danganronpa out from the inside than―god forbid―entertain the thought of even running into them.

It was simply that this dumb, deaf, loyal dog of a man hardly listens to him, despite the fact they've both avoided others like the plague. Pot, meet kettle.

( ...Deep down, he knows he wants Momota to stay, that much was certain. But voicing it was difficult and his throat feels stuffed with cotton to voice, or even admit, such weakness. It hurt to push him away, but it was safer to cut him off before Ouma did something drastic that hurt their relation-situationship, forever tainting his memory of him. )

“Nothing, obviously,” bouncing back, he responds chipperly with a smile. “If you want to get food, I'm not stopping you, but as you can see,” he gestures at his legs, “I can't walk anywhere I please and you're not that heartless to force an injured man to venture out into the cold, hard world, are you?”
