Last night in Tokyo, Dick went back to the Tokyo Tower to see it all lit up and hear the holiday concert there. Next morning he got up early to get in some last minute sightseeing at Senso-ji temple before the crowds then wandered around eastern Tokyo before heading out to Harajuku to finish up christmas shopping before heading back to the airport.
Dick made it back to Tokyo just in time for a huge rain storm and thought it would be a great time to check out the Imperial Palace Park.
Dick is enjoying his last ride on a Shinkansen Bullet Train in Japan on the way back Tokyo.
After a quick trip to Kyoto Dick found his way back to Nagoya to spend a couple more days exploring. He hit up the Science Museum, Botanical Gardens and Zoo. After a full day he headed back to the Sakae section of Nagoya to take in all the holiday decorations at the Central Park Mall and and Nagoya TV Tower.
Second day in Kyoto, morning visit to Kinkaku-ji golden temple followed by a hike through the bamboo forest and up a mountian side to round out the afternoon
Day 4, Dick made a trip to Kyoto and started his day by checking out the Nijo Castle, which unfortunately was packed with groups of school kids on feild trips that day.
Day 3 Dick did some wandering around Nagoya and found the Sky Boat, turns out that Japan has a thing for Ferris Wheels. After the ride he managed to track down a giant burger.
Second day in Tokyo, Dick was out early taking in the sites. He made a stop at the Tokyo Tower and took a second to chill on the look down window.
First night in Tokyo, Dick found the Bandai headquarters which is surrounded by character statues. Most of which don't photograph well at night.
Layover at the airport in Taipei. Dick took in the local culture from the airport and found the Hello Kitty themed gate in the International terminal.
Dick is settled in for his first trans-pacific flight. On the way to Taiwan and Japan for 8 days over Thanksgiving.

Dick took a little trip down to the Gulf Coast for summer vacation where he tried out a golf career as well as making an attempt to join a pirate posse.
That weekend Dick went to the Blues Week Festival near St. Louis, he got some kick ass BBQ and then nearly got eaten himself by the nearly buried man. After that close call he found that the World's Largest Boot Store was nearby and consoled himself with rows and rows of cowboy boots that he can not afford. Not pictured here was the trip to Anheuser Busch Brewery where he attended Beer School, passed with flying colors but failed to take any selfies.
Dick decides to expand his traveling horizons and take the MegaBus to St. Louis for a few days of partying. Here he discovered the joys of rest stops in the Middle of Nowhere USA. At the end of the day though he finally made it to St. Louis to hang out with the Arch at the Gateway to the West.
It's not OK to go to Chicago and not order a giant freaking deep dish pizza the size of your head... err entire body. So says Dick
