does anyone still care about the 90s…
ive been running this blog for years… i was just at panda express, it was near closing time, it was empty, and my girlfriend works there part time, she was standing there by the chow mein, bored, probably tired from a long day of working… i went up and gave her my order n stuff, and i could tell while she was doing my order that she was really grossed out by the food, like working there everyday, it must be tough and you just kind of despise the food, even though its delicious…
so i was like “Long day? Me too, I’ve been blogging all day.” she barely heard me, and looked at me and was like, “What? What’d you say 90s?” and we locked eyes, “I said, I run a blog and I want 2 die, Vivian.” and she was like “Thats cool.” and she laughed.
So like 10 mins later we hang outside and sit on the curb of the sidewalk in front of Panda Express. The shopping center its in is pretty dead, and its really just us, sitting there… and I was like “There are so many things I want to say to you, but I don’t know how.” Those are Oasis lyrics, idk, sometimes I just slip lyrics from songs into conversations…she stopped looking at her smartphone looked at me and laughed, “What?”… and we just looked at each other, I was still giving her intense vibes, and we just kinda start leaning into each other, I kiss her, and I was all “I wasted 4 years of my life running a blog, and I can’t waste another day of my life not doing what feels right. And I want to tell you that I’m in love with you.” and we start making out. i like to make out to music, so i go into my smartphone and put on The Postal Service Album - Give Up, and we make out to The District Sleeps Alone Tonight… and i was like, idk, i run a blog and i’m in love. does anything else even matter…
